Great portions, served hot and fast. The diner is clean, well kept, and reasonably priced. We stopped in after attending the Essex Steam Train Polar Express and were really glad we did. The kids enjoyed pancakes and French toast, while the adults each had their own meals—everything was excellent. If I lived closer, I’d definitely be a regular. Highly recommended.

All around just a great diner. We wanted to have breakfast at 4pm and found this place since we were passing through town and I ordered a many meats and cheese omelet and my wife ordered the California eggs Benedict. Both were absolutely delicious. Also tried the tiramasu it was very very tasty. The staff was awesome, friendly, and very polite. If we lived nearby it is definitely a place I would go to all the time. So if you are in the area make sure you stop by and try it you will be happy you did.

Ran across this large diner and stopped for a quick bite. AMAZING, bustling & busy place! Every seat filled, cheery atmosphere, huge menu. We ordered steak and eggs, which could have fed two people. Enormous portions, eggs done to perfection, and a large biscuit fresh out of the oven. We were completely surprised to have found this pace and will be going back. Our waitress was courteous, well informed (we needed directions), and we tipped her pretty well, considering what a terrific meal we had with such good service. We highly recommend Parthenon Diner in every way a delight.

I’ve had this spot on my list for a year, and my husband and I finally made our way up for Mother’s Day! I hate to give this place a 4 because it was everything we hoped for. The prices were so reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious. We wanted to try everything. My husband has been dying for steak and eggs, and he was in love with his meal. My food was also everything I hoped for and enough to bring home for at least 1 more meal. Unfortunately, the one thing I don’t care for are partially scrambled eggs. If I ask for scrambled, I don’t want to see half white in my eggs. I’m sorry, and they were what I would call wet. Almost cooked but not quite. Other than that, the staff was awesome. The atmosphere was old world dinner, which was awesome, and we loved the outdoor patio. Definitely going again.

Food is good service is subpar at best. You will order something gluten-free and instead of being asked what side do you want? They will bring out fries that are not gluten-free from being deep-fried in gluten.
