I had the best lunch in Cyprus! With the best family restaurant and lovely penny who served me and made sure i am happy
The owner and his hospitality is so comfy, both were nice to me they made me feel home. And the food was really good, fresh and worth to try!
I really enjoyed my meal and highly recommend this place
The food was very delicious we tried some new local dishes.
The staff were very friendly, gave us recommendations and surprised with very tasty local bread.
Service was appalling! We asked if there was a Mezè available & the abrupt response was “it’s Friday not Thursday, we only do mezè on Thursdays”…..
After placing our order from a very limited menu drinks were ordered, 1/2ltr carafe white wine (€14) & 500ml plastic bottled water (€4).
Our shared Village salad (€15) was obviously made the day before as was limp, uninteresting & minimal feta!!
The mains…..Mousaka + Whole squid. Mousaka was left half eaten, Lidls would’ve been better. The squid was really awful. Fried in what tasted like old, rancid cooking oil!! Served with I slice of carrot. I had to ask for lemon, then begrudgingly was given slices of lime after wandering about looking for the server!! Overcooked & chewy as!! Local cats that were around the restaurant were very happy!! The bill came to €73!! Avoid this restaurant & go to The Fat Fig, complete opposite of this establishment & just 2km down the road.
Wonderful bread that reminds me of childhood and chocolates made right there, flavored with heart.
So many small emotions you can notice if you are open to them.
The main dishes are absolutely delicious. One of the best meals I’ve had. If you have time during the week, make sure to come here and try something like lamb kleftiko.
I really hope I will come back here again one day.
Honestly, I didn’t want to leave.
He recommended the lamb dish which turned out to be absolutely outstanding, incredibly tender and full of flavor. I’ve never had lamb prepared so perfectly. The pork souvla was equally impressive with perfectly balanced seasoning and exceptional taste.
The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and outstanding food made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!!
