A delightful Mexican eatery boasting an extensive menu. The service was excellent, with a professional and attentive young lady assisting us. Our menu choices were diverse, and although I can’t vouch for authenticity, the flavors were undeniably delicious. Despite a modest crowd, the lively atmosphere added to the experience, transitioning from a restaurant vibe to a pub ambiance, especially as the evening progressed.
All in all I recommend this place for anyone craving anything from Quesadilla, Fajitas, and Burritos, along with other Mexican specialties.

El Tequito is THE Mexican Restaurant in Hamburg. Yes, there may be others that offer bigger cocktails and louder music, but if you want the greatest flavours, drinks that aren’t mixed with a half litre of fruit juice, and friendly service that will remember your face the next time you come, you need to go to El Tequito. Most main dishes are also available in a meat-free version, and the Frozen Peanut Butter Pie and Chocolate Mole Brownie desserts are amaaaaazing. There is a reason the others have come and gone and this place has been here 30 years. Highly recommended.

Good and tasteful food. Friendly staff. Close to the riverfront. Walking distance from Reeperbahn. They are missing a menu cart in English. Outside seeting possible, but a little noisy.

The food was mediocre at best. The food did not taste fresh.
The server was sick and coughing the whole time into her hands (and also kept touching her hair ) and was not washing her hands after and then serving us with these hands full of Germs.
Would not recommend or come back. Very disappointing.
