My friend and I discovered Layaly on Instagram because of their beautiful Christmas decorations and knew immediately we had to go. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations.

Our servers, Savannah and Sirius, were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive, helping us navigate the menu and making us feel truly cared for throughout the evening.

One of the highlights for me was seeing Molokhia on the menu. It’s my favorite Egyptian dish, and when I mentioned that, Savannah immediately offered to bring the manager over. He graciously let me taste it before ordering and explained that it was the Lebanese version. It was incredible! Those small, thoughtful touches truly set Layaly apart and show how far they go to create a memorable experience for their guests.

We enjoyed everything from cocktails to our entrées and finished with the cookie skillet dessert. Every single dish was delicious, and the atmosphere made for such a special evening.

If you’re able to visit during the Christmas season, do not miss the decorations. And even if you go another time of year, this family-owned restaurant will absolutely win you over, just like it did for us. We can’t wait to go back.

The appetizers were delicious, and the entree I had was good but not great. However the atmosphere and the quality of the food was exceptional. Docking a star for service due to the amount of time it took to check on us (we were a big group so you can imagine how that went) and some errors with the checks. Highly recommend everyone to try and hopefully get a new favorite added to the roster, because I certainly did!

We chose this restaurant for our friend’s birthday celebration! From the beginning, the owner was responsive and helpful in putting together a custom menu for the group. The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our party was a memorable experience. Highly recommend for any occasion!

This place was a phenomenal experience! The only surprise we had was that we did not know there is valet parking, as there is very little available parking for self parking. As someone who tries to avoid valet at all costs, this took us by surprise, but we had a reservation and fully intended to enjoy our experience nonetheless.

The atmosphere is wonderful, the story behind this restaurant is very moving, but more importantly the food itself is absolutely incredible. I waffled for a long time on whether to get the chicken kebab or the Valentine’s special scallops entree, and I chose the scallops (which was absolutely the right choice!!). The scallops were the best scallops I have ever had, and I’ve had scallops at many upscale restaurants in the Atlanta area.

For appetizers We got the stuff great leaves, the falafel, and also the matcha shrimp. They were all good, but if I had to only pick one I would absolutely hands down pick the falafel every time. This is my favorite falafel I’ve ever had in Atlanta, and I would order the falafel every time I’m ordering from this restaurant in the future. Of the three appetizers we tried, the shrimp was the most expensive but also not my favorite (Not bad, just not my flavor palette).

Our waitress Kelsey was excellent, and took very good care of us the whole time we were dining there. I asked about making a virgin version of one of their drinks, and she assured me their bartender would be able to accommodate.

If you came here just for a main course, you’d probably escape spending about $30 a head. Because we had appetizers and few drinks (not even a drink person person), it was closer to $50 a head. Bear this in mind if you’re trying to stay on a budget, but also know that the food is absolutely worth the money!

Next time I go back I’m going to order the chicken kebab with falafel as an appetizer. I’m sure it will be delicious!

Fun side note: Sammy, the restaurant owner, makes a point to come around and say hello to each of the tables and make sure that you’re having a good experience. This reminds me of when Dante from Dante’s Down the Hatch would do this, and it really shows the dedication and care they put into their restaurants. Sammy has a great staff and it’s nice to know he genuinely cares!

Beautiful atmosphere with such kind wait staff. Being Lebanese I am picky with eating mediterranean / Lebanese food outside of home but this was a great experience and we loved the food and presentation. Worth a trip out to Chamblee to check it out!

We went for a marriage celebration dinner. We were a very large group and then were so kind and attentive. My mom has gastritis and they were able to accommodate for her food restrictions. We got a really nice free thing from them for the celebration! It was wonderful and they even wrote a personal note congratulating us. The food itself was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed all the sauces. Everyone had an amazing time. Thank you for making this day even more special!!!!

My first experience here was a bit of a disappointment due to just a crazy busy night, but the owner Paul reached out to invite me and my date back and we had a much better experience this time around. Food and drinks were great (I got the lamb kabob again because it is so good), service was prompt and friendly, and we appreciated the willingness to give us a better impression of the restaurant. My date loved the chicken harissa (first time) and the squash dish, the grape leaves were excellent, and the baklava ice cream with some Arabic coffee hit the stop. I will say that my kabob from the first time came with a sauce but this time it had to be ordered separately which is fine, but I do think it would be nice for some of the dishes (like the kebabs) to come with a sauce. Thanks Paul for the invite back!

The food and atmosphere is amazing here! I got two dishes, both were really tasty but I recommend the “Rosemary & Za’atar Chicken”, I was so excited to eat it that I forgot to take a picture. The staff were also super sweet and happy to assist you with whatever you needed. Must try restaurant!

Went to Layaly recently to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We tried the Hummus and Kibbeh as appetizers and they were bothe super tasty. I got the Lamb Shank for my entree and it was delicious, the meat was so tender and seasoned to perfection. We got the baklava I’ve cream to finish the meal and we all loved it.
