The chain had a lot more stores in NYC as about 10 years ago, there were a lot of them, but now I feel like the chain is almost extinct in NYC.

First visit to White Castle and the staff were very helpful in giving us advice and provided a friendly energy.
For low-cost fast food the quality and flavours were great and everything came out hot and fresh.
No seats in here and the walls have seen better days but are lovingly decorated in photos of White Castle history.

New White Castle clean and fresh looking. The place is small. No chairs only standing high table to eat your food. It’s really a grab and go place. They make your order fresh so it’s slow to get your food. I only got a drink. If your in a rush forgetaboutit.

The kitchen was disgusting wasted food was every on the counter and floors and trash on the ground the workers looked depressed (I don’t blame them) and the food tasted like mushed up undercooked leftovers. For sanitary reasons alone I don’t know how this place stays in 2020. I’d stay away from this place even if you’re on a budget they’re are way better options out there. You’re body will thank you later. (The fries were good though)

The first time in my 35+ yrs ordering from White Castle, all because of my son wanting to try it and let me tell you disgusting, disgusting OMG! This food tasted so bitter I literally had to peel that coating off to eat the shrimp, the Mac and cheese balls same thing. It all ended up in the garbage. Wasted almost 20$. The inside of that restaurant and the workers same thing, na$+y looking! Never again, I’m turned off completely from every trying White Castle again.

Could be cleaner, could be faster. I am very impressed that they had chicken and waffle sliders, which are awesome.
I also tried an impossible slider, which was tasty.
I’ll definitely be back, because these burgers are probably filled with some sort of magic crack.

This was first time in a White Castle, so this first impression didn’t go over well for me. I had placed my order and noticed people who ordered after me getting their food before me.
I watched the cashier bag up my food while the others went back to their stations. Yet the others didn’t have a problem bagging up the food for customers who placed their orders after mine. I’m giving a star just because of the cashier’s customer service was helpful. I hope they learn to tend to customers better in the future.

I’m a hardcore vegetarian and when I got to know this place serves veggie burgers too, I didn’t think twice and went straight ahead but to my surprise they served me beef/classic burger. I didn’t realize it was the classic one until I went to repeat my order where i got to know I just had the classic burger.
Now am a hardcore Non vegetarian.
