Our favorite restaurant in Denver.
We love the artichokes, Osaka pressed roll, deviled eggs, veggie burger, kale salad and trout and always order a combination of these dishes.
The food and service are super consistent and the atmosphere is really lovely, it’s a beautiful restaurant.

First time at Hillstone Denver and it was a great experience!
I had the steak and my wife went with the fried chicken sandwich — both were excellent. We also tried the seasonal artichoke appetizer, and honestly, it might be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to go back!

Maddie took great care of us. Slow service was addressed with impressive service recovery from a manager. Food is always fresh, delicious and beautifully plated. French fries are the best in town!

Hillstone came highly recommended, and while the atmosphere was undeniably refined and enjoyable, the food and service didn’t quite live up to the elevated expectations set by its reputation (especially since they impose a strict dress code) and price point. One standout, however, was the ‘Osaka Style’ Pressed Sushi. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, though there’s room for improvement in delivering a level of hospitality and cuisine that matches the upscale setting.

This is always a perfect choice for great food. Make sure you get a reservation, because it can have a long wait. We came here for dinner on a Sunday around 4:45pm, it felt like there wasn’t a wait. We started with the coconut shrimp roll 9/10 followed by the spinach & artichoke dip 9.5/10. The food came out quickly and everything was very tasty. For our entrees I had the Hawaiian rib-eye 9.3/10, perfectly cooked and had great flavor. The fries that were served with it were a little undercooked and underwhelming 5/10 for the fries. I don’t know why the got rid of their baked potatoes, they were so much better! My girlfriend started with a little house salad, nothing spectacular, a basic salad 6/10. For her entrée she ordered the double-cut pork chop, a little on the plain side 6.8/10. The braised cabbage was pretty good but could have used more goat cheese 7/10. For dessert we tried the key lime pie, very good crust and taste, a little on the tart side 8/10. All of the staff were very friendly. Parking is another issue, but this time we were lucky to find a metered spot outside. We look forward to coming back again soon!

Hillstone has become a staple for my wife and I for date nights and anniversaries. Oct. 2nd, 2025 we celebrated 11 years of marriage and decided to dine at Hillstone days later to celebrate. We had an amazing experience. Service was top notch and would like to recognize Claire our waitress who was personable and a delight to conversate with! Food and drinks didn’t disappoint, so cheers to bar staff and chef! See you soon Hillstone

The atmosphere was terrific. Got there for a reservation and there was a wait, but they let us go to the patio and get some drinks while we waited for our table. The food was delicious, the staff was very kind, and it was an overall great experience.

Really thought that this place would be over-hyped, since it’s a chain but man they DELIVERED. The food was so yummy, in just a really classic way. They were running a bit behind on our reservation but they made up for it tenfold with amazing service, bringing us drinks while we waited for our table and comping our appetizer. The French dip was delectable (pro tip: ask for the fresh horseradish too), the croutons on the Caesar salad were so soft and crunchy at the same time, and the martini was crispy and refreshing at the same time. Highly recommend! It’s super packed so reservations necessary.

Simply our favorite restaurant. They Treat you with best in class service without feeling pretentious or stuffy. It can be casual yet date night or special occasion all in one. The food and drinks are both perfection. Go to items are Coconut Shrimp roll, grilled artichokes (in season), Chicken Sandwich and Cajun Trout! For special occasions, the Hawaiian Ribeye with a side Kale Salad. As you can tell, you can’t miss with any items on the menu, just look at my pictures!
