The vegan options here are delicious (and I don’t even love vegan food)! The Margherita Pizza is super tasty. I thought I would hate the Buffalo Cauliflower (pictured here) but it was very delicious… kind of tasted like chicken nuggets. The Burrito Bowl was exactly what I expected. The booth was comfortable and intimate… great spot during day or night. The servers are knowledgeable but the website has photos + great descriptions of all the meals, too.

We went over the weekend and were surprised to learn they have added a separate Vegetarian menu. The waitress said they did it about 6 months ago. While that was surprising since we knew Suncafe to be an all plant based restaurant, the most alarming part was they included fish on their Vegetarian option menu! In what Universe is offering fish, vegetarian?? Please correct this error immediately. It’s bad enough that some sectors of the public are confused about what is Vegetarian and what isn’t, but, you should know better. I am happy to go back and update my review once that correction is made.

Beautiful scenery and outdoor seating surrounded by greenery meets you, while a friendly server greets you. Customer service was superb here. I purchased a breakfast burrito and green juice during lunch and it was great for the car ride home. Loved looking at the framed animal families while waiting for my food. Parking limited on a small lot. Street parking available.

Wow! Food was indescribably delicious! We tried veggie curry soup, baked lasagna, burger, sushi, super nachos, sweet kale shake. Surprised my receptors. Lots of flavors, balanced, tastefully presented and portions are huge. I couldn’t imagine better before coming. Service super friendly and patient. I would definitely come back and recommend to others.

I recently visited SunCafe Organic in Los Angeles for breakfast and ordered the French toast with cinnamon apples. The dish was delightful! The French toast was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—and the cinnamon apples added a warm, comforting touch. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the food here, and the quality was top-notch.
I arrived right when the cafe opened on a Saturday morning and was the only customer during the first hour. While this made for a quiet and peaceful experience, I was surprised that the service wasn’t more attentive given how slow it was. The server never checked on me after I received my food, which was a bit disappointing. A quick check-in to see if I needed anything would have elevated the experience.
That said, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the menu offers a wide variety of creative, organic options. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone seeking delicious plant-based dishes. With just a little improvement in service, this place could easily be a five-star experience!

First things first, it may seem a little expensive, but I think the food is worth the price.
My partner and I took food to go, but the next time we visit LA, we are definitely dining in. The place is so cozy and beautiful.
We tried three pies (peach cream, blueberry, and raspberry mud pie), and they were so delicious. We also tried their cheese pizza, english muffin, and Buffalo cauliflower, and they were also good. The winner, however, for us was their coffee. It was very smooth and one of the best coffees I have ever had. Their weekend menu is a little different, and I am really looking forward to tasting some dishes from that someday.

I went late at night and there was ample parking in their lot. It has some of the best ambiance with a cozy fire pit outside and comfortable seating inside. The service was friendly and quick. We got a lentil loaf, nachos and cookie dough cheesecake. Despite that I’ve always loved their nachos, I actually liked the lentil loaf the best! It has a sweet sauce on top and a hearty texture. I love the creaminess and decadence of the dessert and how it still feels healthy!

Best vegan nachos on the planet….ACTUALLY they’re better than non-vegan nachos and I’m not kidding…..
I had they’re tacos today. Their grill cheese, Mac and cheese and BLT were all really good too.
My advice is to share a large nacho with wine with a friend then see what’s on the dessert menu….YUMMY STUFF!! Enjoy

Weirdly inconsistent in their food portions. The first time we visited the sandwich was three or four times bigger. Not sure why they thought it was okay to send the sandwich out like this.
That being said, tasty food and drinks. Nice staff. Clean restaurant and bathroom. Nice presentation. Overall a good experience, and yes I do recommend. It’s a cute restaurant with lots of vegan options. You’ll be glad you went.
