Very interesting experience overall. I’ll give them some credit because I came in with a party of 16, so it wasn’t a complete disaster, but there were definitely a few issues.
The biggest problem was how they handled the bill. They don’t seem to have a consistent or efficient system for splitting checks. Even though I tried calling ahead to ask about splitting tabs (and didn’t get an answer), when we arrived they gave us one large bill for the entire table. I ended up putting everything on my card, which was a headache to divide later. On top of that, they add a mandatory 20% service charge ($71) to the total bill, plus a $12 credit card fee, which makes it awkward and not very compelling to add any additional tip—especially when you can’t split tabs in the first place. For large groups, this setup is really inconvenient.
The food prices themselves were reasonable, but the bread basket was honestly disappointing. It was supposed to be focaccia, but it looked and tasted more like leftover pizza crust scraps. I told the waiter I wasn’t happy with it, and it still ended up on the bill. He did bring out some grilled bread instead, which was fine, but nothing special.
The table setup was fine and the service was okay at the beginning, but toward the end it became hard to find our waiter when we needed help. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place for large groups because of how they handle checks and service charges. It might be better for brunch or for smaller parties, like going solo or with one other person, but for big groups, I’d probably look elsewhere.

We ordered the Margherita pizza and the Alfredo pasta. The food, portion sizes, and service were all excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only downside was that our table was a bit too close to the kitchen area, so we often had servers passing by with plates.

From appetizers to desserts, an authentic experience. We loved the warm bread basket. The Ceasar Salad was light, crisp and well portioned. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was perfectly seasoned, the chicken was plenty. The potatoe fingerlings were seasoned well also. The desserts were fresh sweet and a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Service was amazing and there was much attention to every little detailed. Wonderful place to dine if you’re in DC

The food was very good. We came for HH. We sat at the bar. We had the Caesar salad with balsamic and a little Caesar dressing. It was very good. The crotons tasted like they were homemade. We had the meatballs, they were okay, a little dense. They should come with toasted bread. We had the salmon tartare. That was excellent. That came with toasted bread. And then we shared the linguine frutti di mare. That was very good but when they bring it to you they should have the Parmesan with them to put it on top, although I like when you can do it yourself. Our waitress was nice but she could have been a little more friendly. Once the restaurant started getting busy, she was very busy and didn’t really do anything to ask us if we wanted dessert, etc. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. I think they need to pay a little more attention to their customers if they want them to come back. The food was very reasonably priced and very tasty which is why they are so busy.

We’re down in Washington DC visiting for a few days and this is one of the restaurants that I chose for dinner. It was only about a half a mile walk from our Airbnb and the weather is very warm down here so it was a nice night for a walk. As soon as we walked into the restaurant it was very warm in there, They really should’ve had the a/c on. We were offered to eat outside in the tent, but we decided to stay inside anyway. The space was very busy and it can get loud. We both started out with a glass of wine, which both were good. For appetizers, we shared the focaccia bread basket and arancini. When the focaccia came out, it really just looked like baked pizza dough. It was very thin. It was seasoned with garlic and spices, it did have good flavor overall. The Arancini with red sauce was good. I had the cavatelli with broccoli rabe and crumbled sausage and I thought it was very good. My partner had rigatoni with salmon and a vodka sauce, and he thought it was very bland and not enough tomato flavor but it did have quite a bit of salmon in there. Not sure if we’ll be back in the area anytime soon, but I would be willing to try it again if we were down in DC for a couple days.

I had a decent time here, but there are some things that could use some work. Firstly, when we arrived, the crowd of people by the host’s area was insane. Most people were left waiting for their reservation for 10-15 minutes after the allotted time. When we got to our seat near the bar in the back, the area was very cramped. There were staff members and patrons walking back and forth all the time and I felt like I was in the way. The service was alright, kind of slow, but it was a busy night so that’s expected.
I’d rate the food a 7/10 overall. The burrata was extremely underwhelming. The portions were way too small and it lacked any sort of creativity. The pappardelle alla bolognese redeemed itself, it was delicious and I could tell that the pasta was homemade. But they didn’t offer any Parmesan for it. The chocolate cake for dessert was also delicious.

A great choice for Washington Restaurant Week lunch or any time. A short walk to the Phillips and other art galleries and the Metro.

I came here for brunch and overall enjoyed my meal. Our waitress misplaced our food order so we were waiting a long time for our entrees. However, she was attentive with our mimosas so we didn’t notice our missing food until the folks around us were experiencing halftime. We sat outside too before the humidity returns to the DMV.
The side salad was bland; I prefer more flavor at least with more lemon. Overall not bad for brunch.

Had an amazing business dinner at Sette Osteria and was thoroughly impressed! We had a large group of 32 people, and the staff did a fantastic job accommodating us with two spacious tables and a thoughtfully curated pre-fixe menu.
The food was outstanding – beautifully presented and full of flavor. I highly recommend the Grilled Salmon for the main course – it was perfectly cooked – and the Tiramisu for dessert, which was rich and delicious. Their cocktails were also top-tier.
From the ambiance to the service to the food, everything made for a wonderful dining experience. Definitely a place I’d return to, whether for business or personal occasions.
