Stopped in yesterday on our way to Congress Jewelry. Eaten here quite a few times over the year. We first went to Cheeburger back in the 90’s on 41 to the original restaurant. This is a very nice establishment on the island and a great place to bring your family. Service was great as well as our dining experience. If you want a burger that will satisfy your hunger this place is a must.

What a gem in the heart of Sanibel. Opens at 11am every day. French fries and onion rings basket is perfect to share. Skin on fries and thing crispy onion rings. Burger melt on rye and Classic burger. On melt: caramelized onions, Swiss, sauté mashrooms (extra). What a treat! Melting in your mouth. Perfect flavors and textures. Customer friendly, will take your pictures. Vintage vibe and classic decor. Visit for great food and diner experience.

Fun atmosphere!
The kids enjoyed looking around while we waited for our food. The kids meals came inside of a vintage car box which was a cute surprise! The kids ice cream sundae is a great deal and a perfect way to end the meal!

Great spot! Large and roomy space which is decorated with a collection of retro diner furnishings, decor and artwork. I give their classic burger high marks, a solid 9! The burger bun is exceptional as are the fries. If their ground beef was better quality they would get a 10.

The loaded cheese fries were the best we have ever had and we have had many! The cheese sauce was amazing.
The burgers were huge and tasted great. The onion rings were house made and delicious.
The shakes are the old fashioned kind with rich, thick, creamy whipped cream. The Sundays are good too.
The theme is fun and they have a cheeseburger challenge if you are feeling brave.

Definitely one of our favorite restaurants on the island and we look forward to eating here Every year when we come down for vacation. The foods amazing and it’s a great atmosphere! The only negative is that they’ve now instituted a strict “no adults can order a kids meal” policy which is a let down because a lot of times people want to stop in and eat but not order (and pay for) an adult, full size meal so unless that changes, we’ll have to factor that in to our lunch/dinner location choices.

Great atmosphere and location on the island. Fun place to admire the decorations. The food was so fulfilling that I didn’t get save room for a famous milkshake. The lunchtime bar tender was not very personal or friendly but did the job. The food was good and sauces are amazing.

I like how roomy it is here and you can have a normal conversation. It’s decorated nicely. Food is reasonably priced and you get nice portions. The grouper sandwich is a set price and delicious. Service is great. One of my favorite places to dine on the island.

Cool stop well we were in the area. Really fun to core inside kind of a ’50s theme I had the love potion number nine beverage very delicious as were the blue cheese hamburgers that both my husband and I had. The coconut shrimp was incredible probably the best that we’ve had. The fries were not My favorite probably should have ordered the onion rings. They were fairly steady and the only reason I give the service of four is that it was very slow our server was also the bartender and it was definitely busy. Would still definitely try it another time

There is not enough stars to give this establishment. The food is always absolutely delicious. But what shines bright is the impeccable customer service. Always greeted by a smile. Most importantly, they went above and beyond to find something we misplaced and they took their time to help us find it. Always my favorite place to visit while down here but today made a more lasting impression.
