We got pho, grilled chicken vermicelli and some spring rolls.
Portions are BIG and hearty at the reasonable price point. Especially for bun ga nuong (grilled chicken vermicelli), the size of the chicken was unbelievable! Veggies are fresh and noodles were satisfying, all you would expect from a good vietnamese restaurant.
I recommend this place if you’re in the area!
The service is friendly, the portions are generous, and the prices are great for the quality you get. One of my favourite spots in Mississauga, highly recommend!
Jonathan was amazing, what we ate were what he recommended. Super tasty and friendly place!
Went with 3 friends, no one finished their food.
Completely flavourless chicken, dishes lacked taste and seasoning. The soup is salty chicken water, not pho broth.
The whole restaurant smelled, especially the cups. When I went up to pay, I let them know how bad it was.
I love Vietnamese food, go to I ❤️ pho 3 mins down the road instead.
Just a small feedback — while we were eating, one of the crew started cleaning the table beside us. The spray they used was a bit strong in both smell and pressure, so we got a bit worried it might reach our table. Totally understand they were just doing their job, but hopefully next time they can be a bit more careful when cleaning near guests.
We were lucky to be seated right away around 7 pm, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We shared the grilled shrimp with mango salad as an appetizer. It was fresh, sweet, and tangy. I like it a lot. My husband had the specialty beef noodle soup, and I had the grilled chicken vermicelli. The chicken was so juicy and tender, one of the best I’ve had!
Although we missed out on the popular beef bone rice noodle soup, everything we tried was delicious. We’ll definitely be back earlier next time!
The toppings come fresh and plentiful: crunchy bean sprouts, basil, lime, and jalapeños, plus house-made chili and hoisin for customizing heat and sweetness. Their spring rolls are a great add-on—crispy outside, juicy inside—and the iced Vietnamese coffee is strong enough to keep you awake through the afternoon.
Service is quick and friendly, even during the lunch rush, and the staff don’t mind refilling tea or explaining menu options to first-timers. The dining room is simple but clean, with plenty of seating for families and small groups. Prices feel fair for the portion size, and you’ll likely leave full (and wanting leftovers).
Takeout is packaged so the broth stays hot and the herbs stay crisp until you’re ready to assemble at home.
Overall, it’s comfort food done right: warm, flavorful, and reliably consistent.
My wife and me ate 2 chicken legs with yellow rice and Vietnamese Sizzling steak. They both tasty and really delicious. I will come back to try more foods on their menu.
On the other hand, An Ngon Vietnamese Cuisine is a commendable establishment with a strong reputation for flavour, service and ambiance.
I would like to recommend this Vietnamese restaurant for everything.
I had a reservation for 4 on Saturday night ar 7:30. There was no one at the front to greet and receive the customers, just a tablet to add your name to the waiting list. After 10 minutes someone came to the front, were a good number of people was waiting. We told the person about our reservation and he acknowledged it but nothing else. After waiting for 25 minutes we were seated. We received the menus but we did not receive any information about the food, recommendations or asked if we had any questions. We placed our order for drinks, appetizer and main dishes. The main dishes started arriving at different times each one. The drinks took forever to be delivered. The appetizer was forgotten and we had to remind the waitress about it. In general, the service was inexistent. I am very disappointed with the way we were treated. Something else to keep into consideration is that only cash or debit is accepted. No credit card. But you only know about it at the time of payment.
