Yummy pub food and nice digs. Irish waitress was nice. Lots of screens with games on. Inside was very polished and clean, and bar was impressive in stock and style. Kids food was reasonable in price, and we had the Asian chicken wrap and split – good stuff.

The FOOD rocks! Extensive menu: all the American pub classics and several unique homemade selections. I had tarragon turkey salad, great flavor. My friend loved the fish and chips; done just right. Variety of homemade dressings and sauces. Prices are reasonable so go ahead and enjoy a beverage of choice. I was there at a busy time-no waiting and great service.

Overall Score: 6.2/10 – A solid pub-style spot with friendly staff, good food, and fair pricing, offering a satisfying and casual dining experience.

Atmosphere and Service: 6.0/10 – From the outside, the place appears larger than it actually is. Inside, it’s more compact with plenty of tables and a decent bar setup. The outdoor seating is also a nice addition. The staff seemed nice, though service was a bit slow. Starters weren’t encouraged to be ordered separately, so the nachos came nearly with the entrées, which limited time to enjoy them properly. Pricing overall was acceptable.

Nachos: 6.1/10 – A good dish, though not a standout. The highlight was the guacamole—fantastic and clearly homemade, adding something special. The beef was of decent quality, and the portion was fair.

Cheeseburger: 6.1/10 – A well-seasoned and flavorful burger with a good-tasting patty and quality bacon. While the price felt a bit high, the overall quality helped balance it out.

Buffalo Wings: 6.2/10 – Very well-executed wings. They were cooked perfectly, had a great coating of sauce, and the meat was tender and fell off the bone. A solid choice all around.

We had lunch today. They have a fun atmosphere and the food is fabulous. They offer great kids menu and lots of options for adults. The burgers were cooked exactly as requested and Servers were pleasant, food was delivered quickly. Will definitely eat there again when in town. The experience was very memorable.

Enjoyed an evening out with friends recently. Service was very good, however most of us asked for water and the water was not drinkable. I asked the waitress about this and she stated the town if Apex does something with the water every year and this is what they get. Who knows what chemicals were in the water to make it taste so awful. It would have been nice to be notified before having to ask. It’s as if they hope we wouldn’t notice.

I love Rudy’s. I’ve always had great experiences and food there. But tonight, my take out Rueben was so bad. It seemed like it was old! It was dry and the meat was tough as a boot. It did not taste fresh at all. I’m very surprised and disappointed in the quality, as it was not up to the standards I’m used to at Rudy’s.

Julia is fabulous !!!!!!! She made my day and my experience at Rudy’s excellent today !!! Along with having the Olympics on the big screen !!! And my lunch was fabulous!!! I will share … my haddock fish in my po’ boy was delicious !!!! But next time I’ll ask for it between two pieces of white bread (you know, like Martin’s Potato or Wonder bread) as the delicious fish was lost in the huge ciabatta roll. My French Fries were hot and delicious !!! Very nice place, great location, lots of free parking. Great job all around !!!

I would like to preface this comment by stating that my family and I did not leave unhappy after having brunch this morning, and I do not want discourage anyone from visiting Rudy’s. We had more like mixed reviews. The service was good and some of the food was good. With that said… I am born and raised in NC and I love (LOVE) sausage gravy. I saw some complimentary reviews of Rudy’s gravy and that is why we came in. I was a bit surprised. The gravy had an unusual and VERY intense onion flavor to it. Maybe that is the intent, but definitely not what I would call “traditional” southern sausage gravy. It got to me after a few bites. My step daughter who also likes sausage gravy smelled it, but that was the end of the gravy trial. I’m sure I am exaggerating, but in the moment, it was like biting into a raw onion off the grocery store shelf.
Fried potatoes were seasoned well but were cold. It happens. No big deal.
On the flip side my Fiancée really enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and that is saying something. She is Chinese and Shrimp and grits is one of her favorite American dishes. She ranked it in her top 5 and she has had a huge variety to choose from.
All and all we will give Rudy’s another try eventually, but will likely try dinner rather than the brunch.

Excellent Sunday Brunch. Chicken and Waffles cooked perfectly and Shrimp ‘n Grits were ‘on the money’! Bloody Mary’s were also quite good.
