Tipsy Beans Café is small and cute, with a cozy atmosphere. The coffee was definitely the highlight we tried several drinks, including the Almond Joy, Mud Puddle, and Funky Monkey, and all of them were fantastic. I’d honestly stop by again just for the coffee alone.

The staff was mostly friendly, though the female manager nearly scolded a table behind us over party size and seating, which felt inappropriate, especially since everyone in the restaurant could hear it. Our server was okay but seemed a bit lost and went back and forth a lot.

As for the food, it was decent but not standout. The crab cake sandwich was a little dry, and while my Morning After burger was pretty good, the egg definitely helped add flavor. Overall, it was an okay experience great coffee, average food, and mixed service.

The food was amazing. I had the Elvis iced latte, so good. The catfish and cornbread stack was delicious the honey on it was a perfect pairing. It was a big portion along with the crab cake eggs benedict. Tje potatoes were the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had. I wish i was able to eat more. I left full and happy. The staff was very friendly. There will be a bit of a wait time if you don’t have reservations.

This place is busy! But it’s great food. We got lucky and sat at the bar. But the bar really only has maybe 6 seats. People were waiting for tables. Anyways, not a really great place inside. Tables are there and a small bar against the wall. Food came out quick.
To me this was the first Restuarant that had a very northern feel. Server was very active.
Pancakes eggs bacon traditional breakfast. No complaints. Also large bowl of yogurt with fruit. Very good. Maybe the best place I visited while I was in that area.

This place was highly recommended and I can see why! The staff was incredibly friendly, communicated the wait with precision and managed a very busy Sunday morning well.

Let’s start with the drink offerings. They do have A LOT so feel free to browse the drink menu while you wait to be seated. Their extensive drink menu was complimented with seasonal drinks and the baristas made great recommendations if you are torn on deciding. The caramel macchiato and butterscotch iced latte were winners for me!

Now let’s talk seating. They do have a few tables inside, some on the patio, and bar seating. Every seat is sat by the staff, but have no fear they waste no time cleaning off spots for waiting patrons. We waited max of 15-20 min for bar seating which was perfect for us. The bar itself can seat UP TO six patrons on this given day. We were promptly given menus and served by the awesome, Jessie. She was excellent and checked in on us regularly.

And now what you actually care about— the food. The food was worth the 15-20 min seating wait because it came quickly, fresh and was delicious. The sampler platters for each of us were full of flavor. The home fries were seasoned well and the pancakes were truly homemade goodness. The bacon was crispy and full of flavor. The kitchen staff knows what they’re doing!

Overall amazing experience. I recommend it!

It’s a brunch place for sure, Which I am never mad at! But I just went in to try the coffee and maybe get a pastry And this was not that kind of cafe yes they have coffee and yes they have pastries, but it’s definitely more of a sit down and order food and drinks place. I ordered a mud turtle and an iced sweet peach tea for my husband. Mud turtle was super sweet but so good. Definitely need to come back to have brunch.
UPDATE!
Came back and had brunch and was not disappointed! I got the Bacon, egg & cheese waffle sandwich and it was just so good! I didn’t need the syrup, it was just so good. I couldn’t even finish it, and I ate the other half of the my sandwich the next day, and it was STILL GOOD! Those are my kind of leftovers!
My husband got the Tipsy’s breakfast sampler and he said “That food was really good” because it was I highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Very small, very busy, excellent food and service. Thanks David and everyone on the staff for taking excellent care of your customers.

Edit. I try lots of shrimp and grits. Sort of my comfort brunch. Most places treat their grits as an after-thought. No flavor, the consistency of paste, just a filler. It is very rare to find any restaurant that actually cares about the whole dish.

Tipsy Bean makes great food. Their Shrimp and Grits is flavorful meal. The complexity and time to make the gravy completes the dish. And the shrimp don’t taste like they dumped them out of a freezer bag.

Thanks for adding to a wonderful weekend with three days of great brunch. Oh! Get a flavored coffee drink and make it tipsy!

I love getting the Greek Yogurt bowl and the coffee has always been good. Getting a bit disappointed that the prices haven’t reduced but the portion sizes have. Definitely not getting your money’s worth anymore. I love this bowl because of how healthy it is and how much fruit used to come in it. Hope this gets better.

Small place and long wait times, however, once seated the service was great, same with the food! I got the brisket and sweet hash, highly recommend. Also tried my friends crabcake Benedict, which was also very good. Tasty drinks with LOTS of options.
