Have loved it every time I’ve been here. We’ve had the triple five appetizer. It reminds me of P.F. Chang’s Kung Pao Chicken but better. The garlic Naan is fantastic! The chicken tikka masala, mango lassi and rose milk are great! My husband likes the Biryani.

We ordered a 4-piece mutton juicy mandi today, and unfortunately, it was utterly disappointing. The pieces were of very poor quality there was hardly any meat in it mostly just bones, and the taste was unpleasant. What made this experience even more disappointing is that we are regular customers and usually have our lunch and dinner here every other day. Typically, the food is decent and meets our expectations, which is why today’s experience came as a shock. This was by far the worst meal we have had at this restaurant.

Food is 10/10. Seasoned as if it was homemade and portions are crazy !! Two people can eat from one entree for sure.
Fancy looking restaurant, looks elegant. I think experience could be elevated with more ambient lighting.
Service was good.

I read several of the reviews so I went in expecting the service to be slow and it was. However the food was top-notch! I ordered the chicken korma with mild spice. The chicken was tender. The garlic nan bread was very tasty too. I would definitely go back to taste more of the menu as long as I have time to wait.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.

The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. Every dish tasted fresh and carefully prepared. The highlight for me was the mutton juicy mandi, which was cooked to perfection.

Mainly the Service was the best thing and especially the girl Maha was very friendly the portions were generous, and the overall value was fantastic. You can tell the team here truly cares about quality and customer satisfaction

Being from Hyderabad, I missed that authentic biryani taste so much. After coming to the USA, I never found anything close. After three years here, this is truly the best biryani I have had in the USA.

If you’re craving authentic Hyderabadi flavors in St. Louis, Nawabs Hyderabad House is a must-visit. The biryani is the star of the show — perfectly layered, aromatic, and packed with bold, traditional spices that truly capture the taste of Hyderabad. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the portion sizes were generous.
We also tried the butter chicken and garlic naan, both of which were fresh and delicious. The curries have a rich, well-balanced flavor without being overly heavy. Spice levels are customizable, which is great whether you prefer mild or extra heat.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff was happy to make recommendations. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming — perfect for both dine-in and takeout.
Overall, Nawabs Hyderabad House delivers authentic taste, good value, and satisfying portions. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian cuisine in the St. Louis area!

Place is very understaffed. It takes a long time to get seated and to get waited on. The few staffers working are very busy and hard to get a hold of.
The food is pretty good though.

Update:
The food quality has also gone down. There are like 3 or 4 prices if ch8cken or meat in the biryani or any of the curries.
Overall this isn’t a resturant in america, it feels truly authentically indian.

Update on August 24th.
I had a nattukutu biryani, and this was possibly the worst biryani I have had anywhere including in india. Not a single peice with chicken like leg or breast just a bunch of throwaway scraps like bones and skin pieces.
Half an hour for someone to come get the order, another 40 minutes to get the food, then 30 minutes of sitting around before someone remembered to bring us a cheque.
This is a sub-par resturant , being run with some slum level of dysfunctional service. I am in rage with the reputation damage it will do to indian food for the people in st louis.

Update 6/2/2026
horrible slop which feels like an embarrassment in the name of Indian food….seems there is a mini puddle of oil with some gravy and a little mutton thrown in.
There were no spoons, no napkins, no proper sized beer glasses.
This place benefits only and ONLY due to location in Maryland heights where most of the Indian public lives. Otherwise this place feels like a undergrad college project being run by kids.

They said this is a Masakali biryani, but I didn’t believe so this is a Masakali biryani store before closing. They said I have a Masakali biryani. I believe this is a Masakali biryani, my money. Store closed 12 o’clock, but still they’re selling for 1 o’clock. I didn’t know what the difference between Mali biryani and normal biryani that did a fraud thing. Biriyani I didn’t believe this is a Masakali biryani. This is a normal regular biryani, but they’re selling for Masakali biryani. This is not right thing.
