Love this place! From the moment you walk in, everything feels professional and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food is absolutely delicious, and the ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and look forward to visiting. Best part, I don’t even have to go far since it’s right in my neighborhood.

Such a lovely experience here. I’ve walked around Quarry Lake for years and somehow never stopped in until recently when I was invited to a private event…and I’m so glad to finally get the chance to go!

The food and drinks were excellent as well, and everything was handled so smoothly. You can tell the team really cares about the guest experience.

This was my first time at this restaurant for my birthday dinner. I had the Lamb Shank Osso Bucco and it was chef’s kiss very tender and tasty .
I also had the crispy fresh calamari which was very tasty as well. For my drink I had the sangria which was very nice.

I really wanted to like this place. It has an insta worthy vibe with plenty of beautiful backdrops. Unfortunately, the food and the dining venue itself fell far short. On the evening we were there there was a large event being held in the main restaurant. Seating was available in a beautifully decorated side room with a fireplace or the bar area. We chose the small room.and that was a mistake. It was a highway for people being taken to another private party on the other side. There is nothing romantic about being in a constant flow of people passing by your table. The other issue was the food itself. Our dinner was over $300 for two. My husband had the Chilean Seabass and he was happy. It was creamy and beautifully presented. All the food looked very pretty. The soup was poured piping hot with style. My wedge salad was unusually done but fresh and enjoyable. The 2 downers were my filet and the key lime pie for dessert. Both had clearly been held in the refrigerator for too long. Even cooked rare the filet had a gray cast to it and minimal moisture. I understand resting it perhaps but this was poor quality to begin with and cooked with little care. The mocktails, don’t even bother. Not a cocktail alternative cleverly served but canned juice with a paper straw. I will say our serve was on point. He was attentive and engaging to all the parties I saw him wait on. Pretty venue quality of food is most definitely not worth the price.

As a board member of a company that recently hosted an event at The Cove, an extension of this esteemed restaurant, I had the pleasure of engaging with Johnathan, who provided insightful information about the establishment and the unique dining experience it offers. Intrigued, I decided to visit the restaurant, and I must say, Johnathan’s recommendations were spot on. Although he was not my server, he took the time to greet me and assure me that I would thoroughly enjoy my meal.
My server, John, was exceptionally suited for the role. He was attentive and efficient, engaging me in delightful conversation while offering excellent recommendations regarding the menu. Furthermore, he went above and beyond to make me feel special in celebration of my upcoming birthday.
The food was absolutely divine! The portion sizes were generous, the flavors were exquisite, and the quality was outstanding.
I have come to cherish this hidden gem and intend to return frequently to savor the experience. Following dinner, I visited the bar area, where Will provided engaging conversation, positive energy, and more delectable dishes.
I also had the opportunity to speak with the owner, who graciously shared captivating stories about the company’s inception. Citron has undoubtedly captured my heart.

Citron is one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore. This was my second time visiting. The food is delicious, and the staff is amazing .
I was there two weeks ago for my best friend’s birthday. I’d like to give a big shout-out to our bartender, Will, and the gentleman at the entrance (I didn’t ask for his name—sorry . He is tall and was there on January 30th).
Both were very nice and courteous. Anyway, keep up the great work. I will definitely send people and will return.

Honestly, it takes a lot for me to write a review like this. Last night, I went with a friend to celebrate a major milestone for her. We both ordered the wagyu beef dish. It states on the menu that it should be prepared medium. I asked if it could be a little pink and the Staff member said, “No problem.” My wagyu (that I don’t believe was even wagyu and neither was my friend’s) was bloody pink and extremely tough. We had to ask for better serrated knives to even try to cut the meat to no avail.
So, the GM came to our table to explain that this inedible meat was some farm somewhere. We were made felt that we were the blame for the whole experience. We left hungry, disgruntled and with an extremely large bill for inedible food.
I should have known that when we walked in the door and the restaurant wasn’t even half full during peak dining hours that something was very wrong and it was.

Remedy
If I could give this place a zero star I would. First & foremost the owner Charles is extremely unprofessional. His bedside manner sucks. Innocently I ended up in the incorrect part of the restaurant & asked for guidance. The staff member who aided me was so sweet. Then he abruptly comes up to me with an abrasive attitude, fussing at me about not knowing where I should be. He then begins to bring up a prior incidents he has experienced, that did not pertain to me. I will never patronize or work anywhere near this restaurant. As a first time visitor I would have never expected to be treated in such a horrid way. Please be mindful of where you decide to have your future events. I am sure that this place is not cheap & for you to treat guest this way is beyond unacceptable.

Was here last night for a Galentines dinner with some friends and we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. They had a four course meal for Valentine’s Day and every single dish that came out was so good. No complaints. The atmosphere was beautiful and our server Jonathan was great. Will definitely recommend.
