The biscuits and gravy with chicken were very good and tasted fresh. The biscuit was soft and fluffy, and the gravy was well-balanced—not over-seasoned, just enough to satisfy the palate. I opted for turkey bacon instead of scrambled eggs; while the bacon could have been cooked a bit longer, that was simply personal preference. The potatoes were cooked just right—not burned—and were very flavorful.
The grits with the vegan tofu scramble were absolutely delicious. There wasn’t a single bite left on the plate. The biscuit served with it was fresh, warm, and buttery—perfectly done.
Service was great and attentive. Our server was clearly managing multiple tables, yet she remained prompt, friendly, and efficient. Our food arrived within about 20 minutes of ordering, and we never felt like we were waiting long at all.
Overall, a great dining experience with fresh food, solid service, and a convenient location. Definitely worth returning.
Beautiful ambiance. Really enjoy the wall decor and art.
Def making this my new favorite breakfast spot!
In addition, it’s not smart to take a group over four to any flying biscuit. The restaurants tend to be very small with small tables and they don’t like to serve more than four. Our party usually has six and it’s always a hassle for the hosts who seems very bothered. So I would encourage you to only take small parties to this restaurant.
But even if you don’t typically like grits, you definitely should try the flying biscuits because they’re definitely creamier and different than any other grads. You’re gonna get anywhere else. Their biscuits of course are very good. Even their standard omelettes and eggs and bacon are very good.
Keep in mind the slow service before you order something like coffee if you’re gonna want to refill.
Parking at this location is pretty great. Do you be careful that a lot of the local businesses have a few reserved parking spots but if you’re willing to walk a little bit, there’s a large parking lot and plenty of parking.
