Prices were very wallet friendly. We ordered a Polish sausage along with a burger and cheese fries and only spent $18

The Polish sausage itself was excellent — flavorful and clearly the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the bun really let it down. It tasted like a low-quality, mass-produced roll and didn’t do the sausage any favors. A sturdier hoagie-style bun and fresher sauerkraut would go a long way here.
The burger was less successful. One side of the patty was heavily charred, as were the onions, which made the flavor very overwhelming and bitter. The fries, however, were fresh and enjoyable. Shredded cheese was added, but it wasn’t melted enough.
As for the atmosphere, the restaurant was very cold and noticeably run down. Service felt lax and informal to a fault. There was also a guitar behind the counter that the owner appeared to be working on, which added to the sense that the place could use more focus.
Overall, there’s potential here. The Polish sausage proves they can do things right, and the fresh fries were good. Given the name The Weinery, I think stepping up ingredient quality and tightening up execution could really elevate the experience.

Food is fine. Price is fine. Service sucks. Guy with beard and bomber had bad attitude and slow. 45 min wait for 5 hot dogs and additional 10 min wait for side to come out. No gloves for food prep. Do not recommend if looking for good, fast experience.

This is a classic dive that is well worth the stop. Similar to dives like Al’s Diner. Prices are so low! $9 for a cheeseburger and big order of fries!

Let’s be honest.. what’s NOT to love about this joint!? Made it here today for lunch with a couple first timers. Had some fun in the garden before we ate, always a great idea.. I had 2 specialty dogs, fries and a Mt Dew.

We had a blast and will be back sooner rather than later.

Thanks to the man cheffin behind the counter, great food and great taste in music!

Whether coming for dogs, breakfast, or delicious fries this place hits the spot. Counter service, simple menu, low prices. Owner is friendly/welcoming, and will walk you through the main items on the menu if it is your first time. Wonderful local spot

The hot dogs and breakfast were fantastic! The prices are value deals! Awesome diner vibes! All around a great experience! We are definitely coming back to try all the other hot dogs. Currently, you can only dine outdoors.

Small portions and I only got 2 dogs out of 4. They didn’t even wrap the onion rings. Tossed it in the bag (5 pieces only) and called it a day.

Best diner in town, there’s almost nothing like it. Still run by Pat and his son. Always only has one employee who takes your order then makes it 30 seconds later so you can do any substitution or combination. I get the burger Manhattan style which is a hot dog topping for instance. Prices can’t be beat, even cheaper than Five Guys. Watch the Diners Drive-Ins & Dives episode, Guy Fieri somehow knew this spot and came thru back in the day and it’s still exactly the same. As time goes on there’s fewer spots like these so you really gotta appreciate it and tip well!

Locally owned spot with classic food made right. This kind of place is not easy to find anymore. The selamu burger is my favorite. Prices are unbeatable and the food is too!

Very tasty menu choices. Small town feel in a big city. We were in town from South Dakota and would definitely come back. Our daughter even tried to convince them to come to our town lol. Highly recommend. Daughter was able to eat vegetarian too!
