Food was great! We got the turkey sandwich and the brisket tacos. With a side of queso corn. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Plenty of seating, fast service and was able to get in and out within 30 min!! Thank you for the awesome lunch

I ordered from here before and was not that impressed. I like to try places a second time in case it was just a bad day. We ordered two loaded baked potatoes, two peach cobblers, and two sweet teas. The baked potato was overcooked and the skins was hard, they didn’t put put butter on them, and they also didn’t put bacon on them. The peach Cobbler was pretty good but didn’t have much peach to it and my container was barely half full. Not enough for the price. I paid $2.50 for teas and it was maybe a 10oz cup that wasn’t full. I don’t know that I would order from here again

I came in was greeted by the amazing staff, super helpful! The BBQ was out of this world. The rib was perfect, not fall of the bone, but still had structure to it. The pulled pork was beyond tender and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with the in-house sauce. The brisket was smokey and beefy. For sides I chose coleslaw which wasn’t too creamy and the Gouda Mac and cheese, which also was a star of the show. With a side of cornbread made everything come together. Shout out to Dustin

My husband said the brisket chili was decent. I thought my Mac n cheese and brisket were good. The peach cobbler was good too. Plus walking distance from our hotel! Service was incredible!

The food was great and very reasonably priced compared to the California prices I’m used to. The service was quick and the person who took our order was friendly. This was a slow time for Galveston so there weren’t a lot of people in the restaurant or anywhere else in town. They had the NFL playoff game on the TV so that was very helpful 🙂

The atmosphere was spot on and very cool (see pics), the staff was friendly and very nice, the food, the food was a solid 8. I’ll give Terri Black’s a 10 if that helps so you understand how high an 8 for me. The brisket was tender and juicy but I couldn’t get that smoke taste I was looking for but still very, very good. The Jap sausage was very good, better than very good and the portions were not lacking whatsoever. The sides are where these peeps hit a home run though… between the three of us, we each got direct sides and everyone shared the love!!! The sides were a solid 9 easily!!! The entire experience was nothing less than exactly what I was hoping for our Mother’s Day lunch/dinner. That you so much to the staff at Queen’s for being away from friends and family today so we could share with ours on such a special day!!! Great frikin job, Queen’s!!!!!!

Since I moved away from Galveston, I hadn’t made my way back to Queen’s BBQ in far too long—but I finally fixed that this weekend. And wow, it’s just as good as I remembered!
The moment I mentioned I was going to Queen’s, my phone lit up with family members placing urgent turkey cliffhanger sandwich orders. It’s basically a family tradition at this point. And honestly, one bite and you’ll get why—it’s smoky, juicy perfection. But if turkey’s not your thing, no worries. The menu is stacked with all kinds of BBQ goodness to make any carnivore smile.
The vibe inside? Total eclectic charm. It’s got that fun, slightly funky decor that makes you feel like you’re walking into a local secret—only it’s not that secret. While I was there, a steady stream of locals came in for dine-in and takeout, always a great sign you’re in the right spot.
You can kick back and eat there or grab your feast to go (if you can wait that long). Either way, do yourself a favor: next time you’re in Galveston, make a stop at Queen’s BBQ. Your tastebuds will thank you!

So the meat was very smokey, I was really impressed, but they were shy with the seasoning, now that’s my personal preference so dont let that discourage you It was good. I shook a lil salt and kept it kicking. It was my first visit and the guy who waited on me was extremely patient as I made up my mind what to try. The ribs were impressive but I got one bone and one end piece. I prefer the end to be attached to the bone if you gonna serve it. The sausage had great flavor The brisket was fire again just needed a lil seasoning salt. Overall it made my top 10.

They are not stingy with their meat! My wife had the brown bag lunch with the turkey meat. I had the brisket plate with baked beans and corn. There was so much beef. Nice and tender. My wife did not like their sauce and the pepper on the turkey. Still it was well worth it. I liked the brisket.

Placed my first order ever here on doordash and they did not disappoint. 10/10 delicious. I got the three meat plate and it was perfect. The Mac and cheese is amazing. Favorite meats thus far are the ribs and brisket.
