This is a family favorite and go-to year after year, all the way back through when my parents were dating! The prices have had to increase with the times, so it is usually a special treat rather than a regular desert. However, all the flavors taste amazing, with a special shoutout to our family favorite, wintergreen chip. Other flavors such as the orange pineapple hit the spot for a more fruity flavor day, with a twist on a creamsicle-style flavor. 10/10, we love you Eriksons!

Good ice cream and great location with outdoor seating. Can enjoy the nature and woods when visiting. Regular flavors like any other ice cream shop but little bit on the expensive side. I got strawberry sundae with strawberry sauce and specifically asked for walnuts but they ignored. Staff seems little bit in rush while ordering. Other than their history, didn’t find anything exceptional. Good quality ice cream like many other summer ice cream places in the area.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s so good. I’ve been to a lot of ice cream shops and this is top 3 in the greater Boston area for me. There is a wide selection of great flavors that they make. I highly recommend the S’mores flavor, I get it every time I come here. Portions are big and the texture is about perfect.

We visited yesterday and were not completely happy. Maple walnut had very few walnuts and the flavor just wasn’t there.

We went to one near Marion, MA and we loved it. We found the one in Maynard and went to check it put. Still awesome. The best value for me was the large banana split. Three large scoops with everything on it. Two spoons to share! I took a picture of the banana split so you could see how magnificent it was!

Great ice cream spot, families coming in and out, not a huge seating area if they get busy but it’s a nice setup with the lights! The building next door is where the magic happens and they make their own ice cream! Tons of options and different ways to enjoy your ice cream so pick a flavor and a way to eat it and enjoy!

We love Erikson’s! It’s a quintessential New England ice cream stand with lots of different flavors. They also have vanilla and chocolate soft serve, yogurts, and dairy free option. Just know there are no public restrooms.
