Calafia is a nickname for the microbuses found on the streets of Tijuana, Mexico, the same streets where family vendors serve the delicious tacos that are our inspiration. And if you go to a taqueria in Tijuana you won’t find enchiladas and posole, only delicious, handmade tacos. That’s why we don’t consider ourselves a Mexican restaurant—we’re an authentic Tijuana taqueria. Our only mission is to make the best street tacos in town, and that deserves all our attention

Stopped in to try em out now that I’m in a close spot. Delicious and tasty. Had some tacos and had to of course try out a marg. Tacos were delicious, margarita was meh but they are known for tacos so they win.

Tacos Calafia is hands down the best taco spot in Arizona. No exaggeration. Their al pastor tacos with pineapple are unreal! The perfectly marinated, crispy on the edges, juicy in the center, and that sweet hit of pineapple takes it to another level. The balance of flavor is insane. You can tell everything is made with care, not shortcuts. Fresh tortillas, legit salsas, and consistently great quality every single time. If you’re a taco person and you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re missing out. Best tacos in AZ. Period.

This place really has some excellent quality tacos. Every meat I tried was excellent obviously the standout was going to be the ones shaved off of the trompo! Don’t sleep on their protein bowl, which includes Spanish rice that is super flavorful. There salsa are pretty good and they even have grilled onions and pepper.
The family meal deal is very affordable and feeds a lot of people. The space inside is very spacious and it can fit a large party easily plus multiple other large parties.

Calafias Tacos never disappoints! The flavors are on point — you can tell everything is made with love and fresh ingredients. The salsas actually have kick and flavor (not just heat). I had the taco al pastor, and the beans with carne asada and it was . Friendly service, quick turnaround, and the vibe is always welcoming. Definitely one of my go-to taco spots in town!

Carne asada burritos and tacos are bussin. This one of the best places for tacos in Gilbert. Fast service, you get your food almost as soon as you order. The salsa is really good as well. Overall great place to eat at.
