Lunchtime on a Thursday. A sign on the counter showed surf and turf for $11.49. My husband asked if the drink was included and the cashier said yes. We paid $13.49. I returned to the cashier and asked why we have paid $13.49. Two other people intervened and the solution was that it did not include shrimp for $11.49, but the picture showed shrimp and chicken fried on a plate, and the sign said surf and turf. I asked my husband if it really was that important to argue with someone over $2. Therefore, maybe they will know my dissatisfaction by ways of this review. There was a while female who was not wearing a uniform, behind the counter who was also consulted. (I assume, management)
After our questions, they removed the sign that showed the advertised price.

The food arrived fast after ordering. The food tasted good although heavy teriyaki on the Zensation salad. The dining room was cold and management did not turn the fans off or AC upon request. It’s not comfortable eating in the cold with a fleece jacket. My husband said the men’s bathroom wasn’t clean. When we arrived at the counter the only cashier had her back chatting to a kitchen worker and did not turn around until another employee approached the counter from the back. The dining room had some litter and a table was never cleaned in the time it took us to eat which didn’t garner confidence in cleanliness elsewhere.

The food was great, and usually, I came for the Egg Rolls, but the restroom was a mess. This is a busy location from locals and travelers off Interstate 65. No visible sanitizer dispenser in or outside restrooms nor outside the entrance to the kitchen and cashier area.

Tried lemon pepper chicken for the first time here, lovely. We have always been fan of Zaxby wings, and order frequently.

Drive through was not busy but still slow! Ordered at 5:46pm. They parked the us and the 2 cars in front. Simple order a salad and chicken sandwich. A few cars went through without being parked. Parked 2 more. 16 minutes before getting food.

I was was giving zaxby a try. My $15 salad was trash. I had more blue cheese than lettuce, more tomatoes than lettuce and less chicken which was burnt. I could have went to piggly wiggle and got a better salad. The staff was real immature. Manager was nice. I wouldn’t go back. Probably won’t give zaxby another chance.

Tried this place again while traveling in hopes they had gotten better. They have not. Mediocre, over cooked food that comes out in phases. The front register person was rude and impatient. The rest of the staff in the kitchen and location are goofing off in the restrooms or on their phones. The manager is basically letting the staff dictate the service provided and running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Not one hair net in the kitchen. Would have said something but I had zero confidence it would do anything and would have probably ended horribly. Steer away from here. Dirty, ill-managed location. Will not return.
