Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Litterally no salt, no flavor. What service? They dont have any waitresses. Bartender was nice enough. Atmosphere was fine, its a basic irish pub. On a positive note, the Guinness was a perfect pour. No deals or specials on Halloween? $50 for fish and chips and 2 drinks. Pretty pricey for 2 pieces of fish, barely any fries, and 2 small glasses of beer.

Solid atmosphere, food and service. Came for lunch on st pattys day and had a great time.

Corned beef and cabbage was real good. Wouldn’t have minded a bit more cabbage.

Buddy had the sausage and fries. Sauce was good, sausage had really good flavor.

Would definitely eat here again. Portion size was really good.

Popped in for a pint and was greeted by the most lovely [live] trad music. The quintet of musicians were absolutely *brilliant*, I haven’t heard music that beautiful since the last time I was in Ireland. Great craic….I think they play Tuesdays and Sundays

Great football (soccer) pub which is hard to find in Denver. Usually have on all the important games from La Liga, EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A. Also popular for F1, rugby, and UK sports. Several football supporter groups meet here, including Denver FCB Penya Blaugrana. The food I’ve had here is pretty solid- wings, bangers and mash, fish and chips. The owner is from the UK and he is usually present, great guy. Staff is excellent- but note that most service is from the bar. Order at the bar and they will bring food to your table, so know your table number which is listed on your table. People have listed negative reviews, so experience may depend on your expectations. I say solid UK style pub, great football pub you can’t go wrong!

Saw on Facebook that there was a free shuttle to the broncos game. Catchy ad too. What a great way to see a game. Pregame at celtic and a free shuttle to the game. This is gonna be the way I roll moving forward. The driver was super friendly and the busses were clean… not like some of the city busses.
Thanks for a great experience. I already told my season ticket holder friends about this place and the shuttle service!! Definitely doing this again for Jaguars / Broncos game Sunday!

We stopped in just to get a couple Kilkenny beers, very hard to find beer after already having a late lunch somewhere else. Kilkenny was perfect per usual. And we got the banana bread pudding dessert, it was amazing cap off. Bartender was friendly and attentive.

Really thought this place was a gem when I walked in. Been a bartender and a server for a long time but what they’re doing is relying on their preceding reputation as a bar. What’s sad is this happens to so many good places. I was sitting at the bar and had to make it known that I wanted to order a drink and move out of my seat to do so. Not only once but twice. Maybe I wasn’t wearing arsenal gear but god damn, I’ll never go here again. Especially after I provided feedback and the response that was provided. Date was January 3rd, 2026, almost 1pm

Edited: Joe is great as a bartender. I won’t name names but the other female bartender is someone I would never talk to again. Maybe hungover, maybe something else but damn. If you own this bar, do the correct thing

I USED to patronize The Celtic for sporting events and stew. I LOVED the stew. It was a hearty, rich blend: loaded with beef. A Guinness/barley base with all the veggies in all the right places. It WAS a delicious soul warmer on a cold day, something I would look forward to – even try to replicate.

Nowadays (Jan2026) the “stew” is a cheap veggie soup. It lacks the sustenance and love that I became enamored with. Now it presents as warm beefwater – the type I could’ve just as easily microwaved out of a can.

Word to The Celtic: I want to love you again, but I can’t right now. Stew the stew for real, or send me the original recipe so as I can make it myself.
