Local, family owned seafood restaurant located in Paducah, KY. Owners, Shawn and Laura, opened the doors in November 2015. Shawn has been in the seafood business since 1979, starting at the ripe old age of 16. Shawn is a Louisiana trained chef who has passed his knowledge down to his son, Hunter, who has taken off with his own special skills on the grill. The team in joined by two daughters, niece, nephew, many long time co-workers (that are like family) and lots of new faces and energy. It is a cozy atmosphere with many seafood and non-seafood options, homemade sides and desserts, all prepared fresh to order. Oysters shucked daily! Lunch and nightly special posted on FB daily. Full bar with Strickland’s speciality’s & daily specials.

The food is so good! I ordered shrimp scampi over brown rice with a side of clam chowder. The food is so fresh and really yummy. Zachary the waiter is also very friendly and accomodating. We’ll be back to try different food items on the menu for sure!

As the Entrees were Great… Nevertheless, the crawfish dip had too much cream cheese (taste) and NOT enough flavor! Furthermore, the bartender that relieved Ms. Emyli wasn’t very SANITARY; She set her hair in a hair clip, and went straight to cutting limes. Also, wiped her left hand on the back of her left butt/jeans, while cutting limes. Also pulled out cell phone/scrolled through it…

I cannot say enough good things about Strickland’s Seafood Restaurant.
When we come to Paducah we always eat here. We drive an hour away. The food is delicious and the service is always excellent.
You will not be disappointed.
Our server Zach is the absolute best!!!
He is always so pleasant and makes you feel welcome. He is definitely great at his job and always serves us with a smile.
For an appetizer/ crawfish dip with bread or chips. I highly recommend the bread.
Main course / Cod roll up is super delicious / Caesar salad / Steak – Blackened/
For dessert you should try the bread pudding.

The staff and environment was nice, but I was not impressed by the food. I got the shrimp casserole and it was just seafood mush in my opinion. It was just a mixture of shredded crab meat and unseasoned mini shrimp. It would have paired better with some rice or something. Then the hash brown casserole I was excited for but it was undercooked this time.

Wow! What a great place to eat. Had an incredible lunch. The food was amazing and the service was even better. It was a little pricey but that was because (1) My wife eats a lot and (2) the delicious rum beverage our waiter recommended were truly fantastic. They should sell that stuff by the gallon. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

Out of town for work. Me and coworker were looking for a easy local place to grab a bite afterwards. Server was wonderful and easy to talk to. Had great advice on menu options. We had an excellent experience at this establishment. Mattie, our server was great and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions. I started off with the gator appetizer and the pickle fries. Then, for the main dish, I had the mahi mahi with brown rice and also the red beans and rice. The food was delicious. I completed the meal with keylime pie with the kiwi sauce for dessert, which was really tasty. We will be returning for sure, and I totally recommend a visit if you are in town! If I could give Moe than 5 stars, I would.

Came here a few days ago for lunch 1st time ever been. The food was amazing. Service was excellent. Took a lil while to get our food, but worth the wait. We both had the grilled chicken penne pasta. The homemade Alfredo sauce was so delicious. Here we are back 3 days later. We had to have it again! We live about 40mins from here, worth every bit of the drive! We hear the steak is amazing here too!!!
