I’d recently had a pizza from this c same company down in Branson, loved it and decided to try a couple other pies. This time we ordered the margarita pizza and the shrimp scampi. Both were delicious. The margarita had a balsamic glaze, and I was worried it might be too much, or too sweet and it was nice. It was a nice addition. The shrimp scampi pizza sounded interesting and I wasn’t sure how it would translate to a pizza, but it delivered and the squirt of lemon on top really brought it together.

I was told this place does not use enriched wheat and apparently it’s true because I didn’t feel sick after eating there. As a pizza enthusiast I am so grateful. I love to try pizza everywhere I go, but I can’t digest enriched products so Pappos is a wonderful stop. Atmosphere is typical pizza/sports bar setting, but they will give children dough to play with which is fun. The pizza is great, can’t wait to go back.

I have Alpha Gal Syndrome. This is new to me. As a lifelong country/southern food eating guy this is new and very hard. Most food is so bland now. PaPPo’s Pizza is amazing for their consideration of AGS people. The pizza was fantastic, very flavorful! I’d have eaten it as the old me and loved it. My wife and son had “normal” pizza and said mine was just as tasty. I highly recommend them. They are worth every penny. Thank you Ashley for being knowledgeable and helping me order safely as I learn about AGS.

We were recently in town and decided to have dinner there cuz it was across the street from our hotel. We only tried 2 items from their menu, but let me tell you that we are addicted to their pepperoni pizza and their chocolate chip cookies!!! Best pizza EVEY, hands down and we even bought the dozen bake-at-home cookies and finished them soo fast.. crazy good!!! They need to open more locations cuz we’re about to do a 4 hr day trip for lunch!

PaPPo’s Pizzeria Springfield South was phenomenal! We got the steak salad, Kitchen sink on hand tossed crust, and Philly cheese steak on thin crust. Everything was delicious. The food came out fresh, hot, and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The thin crust was crispy despite the loads of toppings and the hand tossed crust had a crisp bottom, and a chewiness you’d expect without it being gummy.
The service was excellent. Our server kept our glasses full, checking in at times without being all up in our business, and gave excellent recommendations.
There’s even a window for watching them hand toss the pizza dough!
We will definitely be back!

My family and I have been coming to Pappos for a long time and have figured out not to come when they’re busy. This place is not cheap at all and we have been given raw food not once, but three times now. The first two times were the pizza dough (which our server told us they were too busy to remake, they gave us coupons) and now the third time I went in on black Friday and got cookies to go, that were just cookie dough. Curious if anyone else has had this issue

I love this pizza. My daughter and I ate there today. We both have Alfa-gal. It’s the first time we’ve had a real pizza in over a year. If you try the store bought ones, they suck. So please take your kids and family there !!!! You will not regret it. I will drive from Willow Springs to Springfield any time I grave a pizza. Thanks to Pappo’s and its staff. My sever was Alicia H.,and asst. Manager Brad, thank you, guys, for what made our day great! By the way, at salad and cheese bread first. Very good, too .

I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s a pretty decent pizza place. It does have a gluten free crust option if you need it. My wife says it’s good. Staff is friendly. Last time I went it was a Friday night and it was hopping.

TLDR; Manager is the GOAT
So I’ve been a faithful customer for a few years, getting pizza and some cookies has honestly become a comfort meal for me and their food always hits the spot. Seriously top tier
Storytime!! Recently I placed a delivery order that ended in disaster. Apparently they had to remake my order twice (first it got dropped by accident, and then later I was told the Uber Eats driver ran off with my food). HOWEVER ✋️ I called the restaurant and got an immediate callback from the manager (his name was Brad IIRC). He profusely apologized and comped my entire meal (almost $50 worth of food) for free. SUPER nice guy.
About a week later, I went to place another order and just so happened to glance at the voided receipt from my previous order. Normally I get Toast points with every order ($1 = 1 point), and if you get 100 points then you get a $5 coupon. I noticed on my Toast account that since the receipt for my last order had been voided, I did not receive the 46 points I should have earned (I only had 28 in the cache).
So when I arrived to Pappos for my curbside order, I asked the girl who delivered my food if she could let the manager know, so I could have those points returned to me. She apologized and said she’d let him know right away. I got a callback not long after: Manager could not redeem the points BUT decided instead to give me $50 worth of credit (which basically adds up to another free meal). I was floored!!
TLDR 2; Go eat here. Expect incredible service and really tasty amazing food. The cookies are my favorite
