I don’t see what people really see in the restaurant. I ordered turkey and it taste like what you get from the deli and the grocery store. My husband got chicken. It was very dry. The bake potatoe weren’t even hot enough to really melt the butter. The only thing that was good was the garlic bread. Probably want ever go back. Very dissatisfied.

We have eaten a few times and although many people rate other places higher, my Queen and I absolutely love Smokey’s. Our # 1 in this Area. Be sure to request their Hot BBQ Sauce, we certainly did.

My Queen and I shared the wangs which are always phenomenal.

She is currently on a Lioness Diet (Protein only), so she got 1/2 pound of beef.

I got the three meat plate (beef, pulled pork and sausage link. Double green beans for a side with garlic bread.

We are both very satisfied and happy we went back.

Hands down the best BBQ experience I’ve ever had. I ordered the two-meat combo featuring pulled pork and sausage, accompanied by coleslaw, baked beans, and garlic bread. Every item was expertly prepared and full of flavor, but the sausage stood out in particular — incredibly juicy and tender. The cherry cobbler was a perfect finish to the meal, and the customer service was excellent throughout. If I find myself in Pensacola again, this spot will be at the top of my list.

I think the garlic toast has changed size since I had it years ago. It is so skinny and is far too small for a pork sandwich. Might consider a bun instead if your trying to eat in the car after going through the drive through. It was tasty though for a quick birthday lunch!

Smokies has been my favorite barbecue restaurant since I was 19 every time I would come to town that’s where I would eat. I moved here 12 years ago and I don’t get to eat there as much as I’d like but Saturday night I bought dinner to go for the family and the service Was so on point the young man Andy was the one that checked me out funny just a great guy and everybody else that was helping him out were amazing. This is the best barbecue in Pensacola.

First time I have been here and enjoyed it. It’s a local spot that has been around for a while. The place reminds me of an old joint bbq place that has been around the block or two. I did the three meat plate with sliced beef, sliced pork, and ribs. All three were tender. Add the sweet bbq sauce and we have a nice meal. Comes with two slices of garlic bread. I made a sandwich with both my sliced meat. Bbq beans were tasty and fries just needed a tad of salt. I then smothered it with bbq sauce lol. The lady got two meat combo with dark chicken and pulled pork. Both were a lot better than Sonny’s in my humble opinion. Would definitely come back. 8 Chaus

Reminiscent of BBQ restaurants in your small town, Smokey’s delivers on the nostalgia and the great food. I had the sliced pork lunch plate (2 sides and bread). The BBQ baked beans were incredible. The garlic bread was outstanding. The sliced pork was deliciously moist and flavorful.

This place is for people who like cheap food. Disgusting. The turkey tastes and looks like deli meat. The garlic bread is burnt. The fries have been pre-cooked and sat in a warmer. The servers are what keep this place going.

We used to eat here all of the time when I was younger, like no joke, at least once a week…for years. The food was always great. It’s probably been 7-8 years since I’ve ate her last though, and I was a bit disappointed. The pulled pork was great, and so was the toast and cole slaw but the ribs were very dry, tough, relatively small and honestly tasted like basic hot dog meat. We had 3 orders of ribs, and my wife and son both were a bit surprised. With that said, I’ll still eat there again and bump the review up a notch if the ribs improve. After all, ribs should be a staple of any bbq place….along with brisket, though i also didn’t see that on the menu. Smokey’s is a long standing fixture in Pensacola and I’ve certainly had many fond childhood memories there with my loved ones who have gone on.
