I personally have never considered their food anything extraordinary but I think most Americans like this more than Mexicans do. The food is okay, it’s not bad, it’s just okay. Idk if the food lacks flavor but its missing something. Even the pico de gallo was bland. The portions are generous, the service is excellent, and the restaurant seems well maintained and clean. The prices are expensive for the actual taste of the food. The white rice is the only thing I’ve ever really liked and would recommend.

First time experience at this restaurant. I had a sirloin steak which was really good, the best sirloin I’ve had in Tucson. The rice was okay… I thought the food would’ve been really good but it was okay. The waiter did take awhile to get sugar for my tea, take our order, and serve us but it seemed like he was the only waiter working.

Went for the first time with my husband and had the poblano enchiladas and the alambre ranchero and it was so great!!! Mouth was watering the whole time. Also had fried ice cream and it was amazing! DEFINITELY recommend trying these three plates. Can’t wait to go back for more enchiladas.

The Parrilla Suiza chicken salad and queso Suiza is bomb. This is my 2nd time going in the last month or so. We used to go quite often and till the whole scandal with the owner taking pictures underneath women skirts…eek!
They have lunch specials during the week that begin at 11am until 1pm (I think).

The portion sizes are big. Really great value for Mexican food.
It’s a different style of Mexican food than the prevalent Sonoran style. It seems authentic, though I’m not an expert. I would go back and try it again though.
