First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Had such a great experience at First Watch in Kendall! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. Maria, our server, was super sweet, courteous, and very attentive the entire time. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked in on us with the best attitude.
The food was incredible the banana walnut pancakes were absolutely delicious, the steak and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the eggs Benedict were fresh and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in their ingredients.
Overall, amazing service and amazing food. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

This is great spot in Kendall for amazing breakfast for the whole family. Great ambience, attractive open space design, and delicious food.
There’s a wait so be prepared to wait a bit for a table. Our server was attentive and helpful in deciding whether n what to order.
The only reason I didn’t put five star is that it is loud. Between the music, the people talking and the kitchen sounds we could barely talk with each other on the table.

I am giving 4 although they may deserve less; I would leave it to the owners and the readers. I know this place is a food chain and what I got some may say is good for the price. I did not like the food presentation and the avocado was bad. The Kale juice was fresh and I liked it. Team was nice.

I would not come back here. The only remotely good thing was my server Joseph. He was very attentive, so props to him.
As for the rest, the food was very mediocre. I tried their Bacon parmesan hash and their donut holes with Nutella. The hash was too salty, I could not enjoy it fully, and the donut holes were just that, nothing remarkable. In addition to this, I went on a Sunday at around noon and could not order a Mimosa because their license only lets them serve alcohol past 1PM. Which is whatever but mimosas are a brunch staple. What’s a brunch without mimosas?
Last but no least, the place was dirty. The floors had trash all over an no one was cleaning.
I guess another good thing is that the price is CHEAP and the food photographs well I guess. Overall not a great place and I wont be returning.

I recently visited the First Watch in Kendall (12516 SW 88th St, Miami) and it was easily one of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in a while. The restaurant is bright, spacious, and welcoming, with great indoor seating plus outdoor options—perfect for a sunny Florida morning.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and made-to-order, just as advertised. I went with the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and a side of Million Dollar Bacon—absolutely delicious and generous portions that left me happy but not stuffed. The coffee was strong and hot, and their fresh juices are a must-try.

She checked in just the right amount, remembered our preferences, and even suggested a great modification to make my dish even better. We ordered a cocktail and the container the drink came in had mold everywhere inside of it. The service here is also lacking. No one came to the table to take our orders for about 10-15 minutes. We had two servers ask us if had been taken care of. As if they didn’t know who was responsible for the table? The server was kind but not attentive. From my experience coming here, this is how they normally run this location. My husband asked for an omlette with no mushrooms and indeed got an omlette with mushrooms… we go out to eat a lot so we understand things happen but this was the last time we come to this location.. first watch kendall needs some more attention to detail and service.

Will gave great customer service. He is attentive, kind, and brought the food out fast. I had the Tri-Athlete meal, side of First Watch Potatoes, Blueberry Muffin and a coffee. Everything tasted delicious! Even the eggwhite omelet tasted like a whole egg omelet. I highly recommend this restaurant, server and food! Enjoy your meal solo or with family as the atmosphere is wonderful as well. Thank you Will for a great experience at First Watch!
