The first time we ate at 5 Guys was in Washington DC. We decided on a burger, two large Cajun fries, and an unsweetened iced tea. When they handed us our order, I was convinced they had made a mistake. There were 3 bags, each the size of a grocery bag. Two bags were filled with their cajun fries and the third held the burger atop a pile of in the shell peanuts. (I had asked if they would mind if I tossed a few pranuts in a bag, I guess they didn’t mind.) Luckily, the rooms we checked into each had a refrigerator and a microwave. This mass of food kept the pair of us fed for one meal a day for four days. When the Five Guys in Hixson opened, we were excited to order dinner there. We were not disappointed. We had learned that we only needed one order of large Cajun fries! The burger is two patties of meat made to order. They have a long list of things you can have on the burger. Another place says “have it your way” but at 5 Guys, you really get it your way. And they do have in the shell peanuts to keep you occupied while you wait for your order.

I have been coming to this store for years. Food and service has always been great. The past 4 times I’ve ate here my fries have been a quarter of what they normally are. If I spend $60 on a burger and fries I expect a half a bag of fries when I order a larger fry. The past 4-5 times I have hardly gotten a cup full at most. The only reason I use five guys is bc of the abundance of fries and they are good. Other than that I can get a better burger and fries anywhere else for the same price or less actually. I’m over it I was hoping it was just staff or whatever but it’s been 4 times now. I’m done. I can go spend $60+ so

Automated phone system SUCKS. Just answer the phone, it takes long enough to make the food.
And don’t say it’s so staff can focus on making food because the 3 employees on duty were NOT slammed enough to not be able to pick up (if they had the option).
Yall are supposed to be better than (insert other janky fast food chains using automated ordering)

The food was good service was also. The atmosphere I give a 2 because I hate trying to eat with someone inside the restaurant bumming money. Managers need to be more watchful.

Five guys > In-n-out. Has to be said! This location in Hixson is one of the best in the city. Bacon Cheeseburger on a lettuce wrap is next level. Friendly staff and genuinely work to make your meal a great experience.

Just not my kind of burger I guess. I don’t think the beef was very good. It seemed too greasy. I got the burger all the way. Great portion size for the fries but I do wish they came in a container big enough for all of them.
Taking into account the price, I think the only thing that is worth it may be the fries.

Went to five guys today on New Year’s Day and my order was number 10. I paid about $17 for a little cheeseburger with regular fries. What I got was cold greasy fries and a cold cheeseburger with raw onion even though I asked for grilled onion and the burger was cold and the fries were cold and greasy. If that’s what I want then I can go to any fast food establishment and get that at half the cost. I really want my money back, but I probably will not get it but know that I will not be returning to your store. You guys weren’t even busy in fact, I was the only person in the restaurant along with maybe one of your employees talking to the cashier so it wasn’t like they were slammed. AWFUL QUALITY!!!!!’

Been awhile since I’ve had Five Guys, forgot how good it was.
Pricing was a bit higher than I expected for cheap ingredients, but everything works together to give you that delicious taste. Serving size was generous, ordered just the little bacon cheese burger and little cajun fries and had more than enough to fill up on.
Inside was clean and they had someone constantly checking the dining area and cleaning up.
Gotta love peanut oil fried fries.

OMG…I’m so late trying these guys out. Been saying I was going to try them for years but never got around to it. I recently moved close to one that I pass every day leaving work. Decided to treat myself on a Friday after a long work week. I was stuffed but couldn’t stop eating it because everything was so good. If you’re not a big eater, go with the small. I didn’t lol
