Decent breakfast spot with buffet option
We stopped here for breakfast, they offer both menu items and a buffet. The food was okay overall; nothing special but it did the job. The buffet had a fair selection and everything was served hot.
Service was friendly and the place had a classic small-town diner vibe. It could use a bit more flavor or freshness in some dishes, but for the price and convenience, it’s a decent stop if you’re passing through.

Love this place. Always visit when passing thru! Family owned since 1949 and the food is amazing and the staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you again for another wonderful experience.

This adorable old-style diner is full of charm and comfort. It has that small-town feel with warm, friendly service that makes you feel like you’re walking into grandma’s kitchen for dinner. The menu is full of good old-fashioned comfort food that hits the spot every time. When you walk in, the dessert case immediately catches your eye—you’ll want to try one of everything! There’s even a small gift shop to browse through, which makes the experience extra fun. A true hidden gem!

What a wonderful little side of the highway place! Was out for a day hike and just googled restaurants near me. An unexpected surprise when I found some of the nicest wait staff and most delicious fries I’ve ever had! My club wrap was HUGE- tightly wrapped with nice fresh veggies inside. It was so delicious! And those fries! I was a little nervous when I saw how thick cut they were but somehow they managed to be both crispy and thick! Everything was amazing and you could tell the servers enjoy their job! Lorry really made my lunch lovely- thank you!

I really liked the homey vibe here and the servers were very nice and accommodating to my young kids. I was hoping for a bit more with the food, however. The turkey dinner was overly salty and something about it didn’t seem homemade, the buttered corn was also a very odd, chewy texture. The kid pancake was extremely adorable, and the grilled cheese/fries were great. I also got some chocolate cake which was very dry, but had good flavor, I’d recommend going a la mode if you’re in the mood for a slice!

Excellent food, servers, and cleanliness! Love the Crazy Eggs. If you are on Rt. 15 headed toward Harrisburg, try this restaurant. Not too expensive, either! Pleasant atmosphere.

A delicious breakfast right off the highway! The Ranch House Restaurant offers a very good and hearty breakfast. The service was spectacular! Good was delivered fast and our waitress was on point with refills and very friendly. We appreciated the awesome selection of teas brought to the table! In a coffee driven world it was refreshing to have a place cater to those who enjoy tea! Our daughter loved finding a little keepsake figure- this is a thing they do for kids at the restaurant!

This was our first visit to the Ranch House restaurant. The service was great, their ham and bean soup was some of the best I ever had. My wife had the haddock and shrimp special, it was very good. The portions were larger than expected.
We arrived just after a very large group arrived but our waitress did great taking care of us.
We will definitely be back again!

I prefer a little more seasoning but that’s just a personal thing. To be fair the food was good for me but my wife says it was the “best roast beef sandwich” she’s had in a long while.
The service was outstanding. Service with a smile gets me every time. If you find service that’s able to laugh with their patrons, while they work … 5 Stars. It was an enjoyable meal in a welcoming atmosphere.
