Great alternative to corp fast food chains. Food is great and price ain’t a plug nickels difference than MacDonalds. Tea had that funky old taste and our table was a bit sticky but I ain’t doggin them over that. All the good stuff makes up for it. Worth going an extra mile off the highway. Oh… and girls behind the counter are really cool

We tried this place for lunch and were delighted by the portions. We had a BLT, Perch plate, a Patty Melt, and a Philly Cheesesteak – all were really good. Sandwiches typically are sold by themselves, so to make it a meal for $3.50, you get fries, coleslaw, and 3 onion rings. Drinks aren’t included, so after adding that, my $8.75 sandwich was close to $17. For those who just wanted water, it seemed there was a cup charge; unfortunately, we didn’t get an itemized receipt and the cashier didn’t provide any explanation when asked. Overall, she was not friendly or helpful, which I was surprised about for a popular restaurant. The restaurant has been busy at every visit – the tables and floors could use a good and consistent scrubbing as the surfaces are pretty sticky.

If you are looking for hot fresh seafood, a great atmosphere, and amazing customer service get to Pete’s of Gaffney. Traveling to Atlanta I googled seafood and several places popped up but I looked at reviews and pics of food and Pete’s was my answer and I wasn’t disappointed. We had Perch, Alaskan White fish, and Shrimp along with all the sides and it was delicious. To top it all off the manager blessed us with free desserts and it was very pleasing to the palate. FYI; It was the strawberry cheesecake and carrot cake.
I frequently travel 85 South and now I have a new restaurant to stop and eat and for that I am grateful.

I ordered a hamburger steak, green beans, Mac n cheese and mash potatoes… the food was fresh, there was plenty of room to sit and enjoy myself without feeling uncomfortable.. also, the workers seemed very respectful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming back and recommend others to do so too!

First timer, Thoroughly enjoyed it! Pork chops were cooked just right & tender. Mac & cheese cheesy enough and the Broccoli, Rice & Cheese Casserole was delicious. Definitely will be returning!

We stopped in for lunch about 1:00 and it wasn’t busy at all. We missed the specials on the chalkboard as we came in so we ordered from the regular menu. Be sure to check it as you come in. It’s between the outer door and the inner door.
You order from the counter and pay before you sit down. They deliver your order to you at your table.
I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with Fried Squash and the Broccoli and Rice Casserole. My granddaughter ordered the Country Style Steak with Fried Squash and Green Beans. Both came with a roll and a drink.
The Chicken and the Steak were freshly fried, as was the Squash, and they were all hot and delicious. The Green Beans and the Casserole were barely above room temperature and were probably dipped from a pan that had been prepared for some time.
The staff performed their duties but they weren’t overly friendly.
There were plenty of tables so even when they are busy you should be able to get a table.
There were a few people who came in to pick up their to go orders that they had placed on line or on the phone. And there were a couple of orders at the drive thru window.
On my next visit to Gaffney I will probably try other options.

We ordered two 12 piece lemon pepper wings, extra crispy, fries, and drinks. Family of four two adults, two teens, $56 including tip. Wings were hot and crispy, as I requested still looking for the lemon pepper seasoning. Oh, there it is, the bottom of the container in the foil, it came as a dipping sauce, maybe. Anywho, it’s not Wingstop, but it was an okay try in a town I have never crossed paths with. The service was friendly. Fries were hot and crinkle cut. Service was friendly and welcoming.

I really used to like this place but the lady running the register taking orders isn’t friendly at all! The tables are dirty and sticky! The napkins literally stuck to the table! The food is mediocre at best any fast food restaurant on the Boulevard is better and over 50 bucks for 3 people to eat this crap for lunch is absurd! Believe me go anywhere else in Gaffney. You can go eat a much better quality lunch for much less. Never will I come back here. If things don’t change they will be out of business and I hate that because I really loved this place at one time.

My wife said it’s cheaper, better value, more food than cook out. Friendly down home staff made everything fast and just right! Closed on Sunday!
