Had a great time here for lunch today. Our food was fantastic. We had the parkway burger and the safety melt. They were great and so was our service. Parking is okay if you get a spot up front otherwise you must park behind the building and walk around but it is not a bad walk.

Rainy day. Visited because this eatery and tavern is pet friendly. Sat on covered patio. The waiter and support staff were attentive and turned on a heater as my wife wanted to warm up. They gave my dogs treats and did a great job serving us. I enjoyed an IPA, tenderloin steak, salad, and creamed corn. Parking available. Close to downtown Chattanooga. Recommend this jewel near the Tennessee River!

I’ve visited Parkway Pourhouse with family and I look forward to our monthly Incredible Business Networking lunch at Parkway the first Thursday 12-1 pm of each month. Their food is great and I personally enjoy the red beans and rice, pan seared okra, and their creamed corn maque choux.

I love going here. We tried the spinach dip and asked for carrots and celery rather than chips. It came out with a healthy serving of veg which we loved. However I’m not a fan of the cold dip. I’m sure it was just me but it tasted super raw onion and clashy flavors.

Came in for Happy Hour on a Monday evening (walking distance from the nearby Springhill Suites), $2 off the premium drafts (and they have some good ones!) and 25% off apps. I had a couple of beers, paid my bill, I went back to my hotel to get some work done, then came back for dinner. Monday night‘s special is any po’boy and they throw in a cold beer for free! I can’t pass that up… I got the roast beef drippings po’boy with horseradish mayo and a side cup of pimento cheese grits; everything was excellent, but the sandwich was really messy. Still tasted really good, though.

Three beers, a great sammich (although I’ll probably get the oyster or catfish option next time), and a side of creamy grits for $40 total between two visits (that includes tips). I will definitely be back to this place next time I’m in Chattanooga. It looks like there are great specials each night Monday through Friday; I just happened to be here on Monday.

*NOTE* the walk is through apartments and townhouses so pretty safe but no sidewalk for part of it.

We stopped in for a late lunch and we had a nice time! They have a pretty extensive happy hours with select beers and appetizers marked down.
The service was great. We were checked on by several staff members throughout our visit and we were never without a beer! All the beers were cold and the food was great!

We started with the boudin balls as an appetizer and I gotta say, those were some of the best I’ve ever had! I enjoyed the remoulade sauce and the mustard it came with. Very good! I got the 1/2 Shrimp 1/2 Oyster Po-boy and also orders a side of the pimento cheese grits. Both were amazing! It’ll be hard not to get both again next time. My partner got the Shrimp and grits and enjoyed those as well.

Great place to eat and even better during happy hour if you wanna save a buck. Can’t wait to come back when I’m back in town!

We had a ladies luneon here. It was perfect for a group. We sat on the covered patio. They have heaters so you were not cold. It is pet friendly so a few had their pups with them. You would have never known it. They were all well behaved. They have great lunch options for everyone. Most of our ladies had the beet salad. I didn’t try it but it looked amazing. I had the salmon patties. They were so good. The ladies working there were all great. You don’t have just one server. They work as a team which I appreciated. I would gladly come back and try other options and maybe a good adult beverage. Who doesn’t love a good drink. Its definitely worth stopping in for.

This was a cool and laid back place to grab an adult beverage and enjoy some tasty food. We tried all kinds of appetizers and a couple different desserts. Overall this restaurant has a relaxing vibe where you can just hang out and relax. Would definitely recommend giving them a try if you have never been. The staff was super attentive and nice.

The atmosphere was stellar! The service was even better! If one waiter or waitress was helping, they all were! The manager was amazing! It was a very busy night and we were seated right away! The food was phenomenal! The dessert was so delicious (banana bread with TN whisky ice cream). The pricing was fair! I highly recommend this place if you are in the Chattanooga area! They even have an area you can reserve for a large party.

Not Just a Great Pun!
The Louisiana-inspired menu here is surprisingly authentic. As a Louisiana transplant, it was a real treat to find a spot that serves so many of the po’boy favorites I grew up with. I had the catfish po’boy and my wife had the shrimp—both were excellent and brought back memories of home. The atmosphere was lively, with lots of conversation and college football on the TVs. It’s clearly a local favorite. We had a great time and spent less than $20 each for a flavorful, satisfying meal. More money if you are a drinker. There are plenty of wonderful adult beverages available from the bar. Highly recommended!
