Huge selection of coffee options, and the pasties are amazing. We were in town visiting for 2 says and had breakfast here both days. He meat lover omelet, western omelet, egg white on pita, and the breakfast burrito were all ordered and none were disappointing. I enjoyed the bourbon caramel latte and others had an Americano and drip coffee options.

The atmosphere is great, the mission and messaging are also a wonderful inspiration.

Definitely try it out. You’ll be glad you did.

Really enjoy the food here. We’ve visited twice now and I love the Bagel with Lox its so well balanced with the Lox, capers, cream cheese and tomato. The French toast was well done, moist yet cooked well on the exterior and not overly sweet. Only complaint of the food was my over easy eggs were cooked more over medium in my opinion. Coffee is comparable to other coffee shops no complaints there. Counter service to order food which lends to a rushed feeling as the line forms. Food runners are friendly but don’t deliver the same service as a full service establishment but its understandable because of the set up in the building.

Definitely worth stopping in when downtown for breakfast.

There was a line to the door before you can order food. Don’t let that discourage you. The line moved to ordering within 10 minutes. The lattes were tasty and as promised. The omelet was made to order.

This place has a lot of seating and a great vibe. The staff members are super. We were disappointed by our meal. The pancakes were dense and dry. The eggs were loaded with black pepper. The potatoes lacked seasoning. We ate our food because we were hungry and had paid for it. Maybe we should have ordered different meals? A woman next to us had French toast that looked appetizing. The place seems very popular, so it may just be a question of personal taste. They offer a large selection of baked goods and beverages.

Great food in a nice atmosphere. Really the best mango smoothie I have ever had…no ice…just rich creamy and smooth and full of flavor. Staff is helpful and friendly. Chicken salad sandwich and hot chicken sandwich were both excellent. Sides were fresh and great…fruit or veggie.

Great little (seemingly – storefront is small but it really opens up and has a ton of seating) cafe! Their food is divine. Their coffee is SO good. Perfectly flavored, not too sweet, beans perfectly roasted. They have coffee flights which are PERFECT for someone who wants a little of everything (I’m not sure the exact oz but it’s probably a large coffee all combined on the flight). We will be back!

During our first-time visit and breakfast today at Cafe Mark, there was a consistent line of at least ten people, it never stopped. That was very telling and this restaurant’s vibe and food quality absolutely deserve the attention. It’s nice to see an establishment doing so much steady business.

For $50, we had two make-your-own omelets with toast (one cheese only and one with bacon, ham, feta, green peppers, onions and mushrooms), one side of potatoes, one hot coffee, one iced Chai of Sauron (amazing name AND taste!), blueberry muffin, and to go we grabbed a blueberry lemon pastry, and one massive cinnamon roll and another equally massive peanut butter cinnamon roll. A ton of food for a reasonable price.

The omelets were not huge and only came with one slice of bread cut in half, which should really be two slices of bread. The eggs were great though. Potatoes were cooked well and paired nicely with the eggs. The nice young lady who brought the breakfast thought to bring ketchup with the potatoes, which was a good idea.

The coffee drinks were very good and the pastries were out of this world. The restaurant itself has a very comfortable old world vibe, with tall ceilings and a second floor to dine in. It’s fairly low fuss and simple, but the menu has a lot to offer for many diets. I can’t really comment on the staff since interactions were limited.

Thank you Cafe Mark for a tasty breakfast!

The go-to spot for coffee & breakfast when in Cumberland. It’s a really beautiful place inside and out, in a perfect location right in the heart of downtown.
I was really impressed by the wide variety of teas available. The breakfast sandwiches were really good. This is the one spot we consistently visit everytime we’re in Cumberland.
Plenty of seating, inside and out.

Cafe Mark is the place to start your day off in Cumberland MD. There is a variety of coffees and breakfast options for food (i.e. – omelets, eggs, bacon, toast, sausage, etc..). I tried the Breakfast 37 – scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, wheat toast, bacon which was delicious. Also, I had an amazing cup of coffee with almond milk! This is the best place for breakfast in town.

The coffee flights are always fun and unique. My daughter loves coming here for lunch. Great food and pastries that are always moist and tasty. Everyone seems so polite and helpful, the atmosphere is like stepping into an entirely different place from the downtown area.
