This location has unfortunately seemed to struggle since their recent renovation increasing the drive through to two lanes. Ordered ahead for curbside pickup, and after waiting for 10 minutes while at least a dozen vehicles made it completely through the drive through, I went inside to grab my food. It took another 8 minutes (literally) for an associate to come to the register to field my question. When I asked if I could grab my order, they started preparing it then. Based on how many other people were also waiting for food inside the store, I think the only viable option at this location now is the drive through, and be prepared to wait.

Tirza and Jada were absolutely amazing! Their customer service was upbeat, friendly, and so refreshing. They went above and beyond to make sure my order was correct and that everything came out just right. It’s rare to see that level of care and attention these days, and they truly made my visit a great experience. I genuinely applaud their teamwork and positive energy —McDonald’s needs more employees like them!

We got to the Silver Spring store about noon on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. It was fairly busy table-wise, but many of the patrons weren’t eating. Mostly teens sitting and talking or faces glued to their phones.
Ordering from the kiosk was quick and easy. Waiting for the food to come to our table was a bit frustrating. It took at least 14 minutes, which I realized after my grandson said multiple times how hungry he was. Our receipt showed the order placed at 12:04 and when I looked at my watch it was 12:18. Didn’t recall seeing the time when the worker brought our food. Grandson got a chicken nugget happy meal and I ordered a Big Mac meal. The fries were awesome. The Big Mac was mediocre at best. His nuggets were only ok.
We didn’t expect perfection, but it seems the restaurant claims it’s fast food? Not really.

They don’t pride themselves on efficient customer service; that’s for sure! In my last 2 visits, the orders have been incorrect. This evening I checked before I drove off and had to circle back through the drive thru, because the order wasn’t correct as it was missing fries. Much to my dismay when I got home, I saw that my “6 piece nugget” that I PAID for only had 4 NUGGETS! I’m calling the restaurant now to complain, because my kids are hungry and why punish them for an adult oversight?! I only checked for the fries, I didn’t know I needed to make sure they also knew how to count out chicken nuggets! TERRIBLE

My job is near here so for breakfast I come here sometimes. More than half the time my order is missing something or completely wrong. This morning takes the cake! I ordered a steak egg and cheese biscuit and paid for breakfast sauce just for them to give me a steak egg McMuffin, no breakfast sauce to be found. I try to give grace and I’ve even wrote off the $3 they charged me for a hash brown that was missing because I didn’t have time to go back but no more. I’m done with this place charging me for things I don’t get.

I had a very disappointing experience during the night shift at this McDonald’s. The manager on duty wasn’t wearing a hairnet while handling food, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, he was rude and disrespectful, the food we received was cold. This location seriously needs better management and customer service. I hope The ppl above this Mc take the feedback seriously and make improvements.

I don’t even write reviews but the staff & owner of this location deserve the praise for serving some of the best McDonald’s in this entire area! The food is so fresh and taste like they just got the items off the delivery truck. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to satisfy the craving no other location competes.

Look, I get it. It’s McDonald’s and they aren’t fine dining or even casual dining so we can’t expect too much. The food is bad for you but sometimes you just need a fix but, what grinds my gears is when I roll up to the drive thru window and say hello, please, thank you, and the employees don’t open their mouth once to greet you or say you’re welcome. And I hate to be the one to say this, it mainly the young females that work here. I know nothing will come from me writing this review but, if you work there and you read this and you are one of the employees with a nasty attitude…do better. Your vibes and energy are alllllllll the way off.
