My Uber driver actually recommended this place because I was planning to go to Kincaid Park, and she said she always ate here before going and loves the corn fritters so I decided to try them out.
Maybe it was what I ordered, but my salmon burger was okay. It was kind of dry and didn’t have that much flavor. I added mayo and wished I had Tony’s but didn’t. The price for the burger is very reasonable so you can’t beat that. I did order the corn fritters like my Uber driver suggested and they were awesome!!!! I would return just for those and to try a shake since I didn’t this time.

Came here a good handful of times before. Immediately upon arrival for my pick up, I seen a worker outside cleaning up, ensuring a clean appearance for people walking in. My order was on time, burger and fries were hot and bussin! Well worth the price in my opinion. Under $20 for a double cheese burger and side of chili cheese tots. Hard to beat the convenience, price and nostalgia of good ol Tasty Freeze! Will definitely be back and referring my clients here for a quick delicious burger

Stopped in for lunch, the staff is friendly. The food was delicious I had the spicy bacon ranch chicken sandwich. It’s very clean and as soon as someone leaves a staff member was right over to clean up. A little disappointed about the “dole whip” but will just choose a different ice cream next time.

Good food! low key when of my favorite places in Anchorage to get a burger. Good chili dog and the soft serve ice cream is always a treat. Peanut butter milkshake however is my favorite.

Great little locally-owned grill & ice cream shop that has become a family tradition. Always a welcome temptation on the way to or from Kincaid Park.
We appreciate that the food quality is consistent and they’ve manage to keep the prices very reasonable over the years.

We got waited on right away and then waited and waited. We ordered 2 ice creams. People came after us, got their ice creams and left. After going up to inquire, I was told they were working on it. Meanwhile, other ice creams were coming out, but not ours. I heard a young man tell the girl up front that the sundaes were in the freezer. So this was something that could have immediately received, instead of waiting 15-20 minutes. The only reason we got our order when we did, was I my inquiry. Very definitely not impressed and very disappointed. I enjoy leaving favorable reviews, but was not able to this time. I have no plans to go back.
There was one young man who was helpful when I went forward to inquire. He was tall with dark eyes and dark curly hair, unfortunately I did not get his name. He asked me if I was waiting on my order. He was the one positive element.
My son was not crazy about the nuts on his Marshmallow Sundae. He said he was glad he didn’t have a nut allergy. It was the first time he had ordered the Marshmallow Sundae, so was the expectations did not match reality.

Hard to describe in a way, the place is always busy families, kids, seniors, tables full people wait for their togo’s, friendly young fleet of workers, i had just come in for a shake and was there for along minute till I saw people who had ordered after me get their meals. I checked on my shake it had been sitting in the cooler. Not a big deal. I do enjoy the place for the people vibe. You can tell it’s a tradition to eat there. Like parents with kids go there because when they were kids parents would take them there. They have some great old pictures of the olden days.

We traveled all the way from Dallas, GA and went to Tastee Freez. This restaurant was talked about all week while we help improve the looked and roof of The Crossing at Sandlake Church in Anchorage. When we finally had time
to go, it did not disappoint!

I create honest reviews for people, just like you, to make better informed plans/shopping decisions before ya go.
I went here on Sunday around 8:15 pm, and I left there about 25 minutes later. They were very busy and happening place. Almost a packed house. Lots of family and couple customers.
I am stuck on the double country burger, regular fries, and a butterfinger freezer.
The service is pretty good and they really have their hands full when so many people are ordering ice cream.
This is located on the airport side of town and is probably the best location for a family dining experience on this side of town.
I have included photos for your convenience.
I actually put my Freezee in the freezer and forgot about it til I went to bed. I was so excited to jump back up and indulge in my Butterfinger ice cream like a bod boy.
