The restaurant is in an old Presbyterian Church. The light filtered in through the old church windows. It was hard to pick from the menu. They all sounded so good. Our meal was wonderful! Warm, fresh and yummy.

First time visit since the place changed owners and changed into a restaurant from a coffee shop. Food is good and service is good. Nicely remodeled inside this great old church. Had the Tuscan Salad.

Honestly, one of our favorite breakfast spots! Love all the Eggs Benny to choose from and solid service every time! The staff is always so pleasant and accommodating! Atmosphere is excellent, very quaint and well thought out! Not too noisy to carry a conversation and I know many groups meet here. Lots to choose from on this menu so everyone can fine what they like. Can’t recommend enough!

Our server had an amazing personality! Really enjoyed him. However my meal was not so great. I had grilled salmon with a baked potato and broccolini. The salmon was very dry, the baked potato was too firm and cold and the broccolini was cold. The server was kind enough to take my meal off the tab.

First visit and am wondering why it took me so long to come here. We will definitely be back. I sat outside and enjoyed the day before it become unbearable. Service was exceptional… coffee and water refilled without having to flag anyone down. Wasn’t hurried to leave either. Food tasted great and there looks to be a lot more to come back and try.

I went to this place with my family and friends, and I loved it. The food is delicious, although the portions aren’t very big. You’ll enjoy an exquisite flavor, but in somewhat small servings.

The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it special—especially since it’s located in the heart of downtown Eagle and provides a very welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The building used to be an old church and still maintains its original facade, as it’s considered a historic site.

I wish they shared more about the history of the building, though. It seems they assume everyone already knows what it used to be. But Idaho has grown so much that many of us—like me—are just now learning to love this beautiful place and its stories.

Love the setting, a converted church we used to drive by for years before it became a coffee shop with pastries, then added some baked items and continued to reinvent itself with the addition of outside dining, and recently with dinner. I’ve always found the service to be a cut above many of the neighboring restaurants in downtown Eagle, anticipating with delivery of hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, etc. ahead or with the food instead of once a meal is half finished. Bringing food out hot, asking how you are enjoying the meal before presenting the check. If there is any one complaint, sometimes it take awhile after ordering to get food. In part, that’s because the kitchen is a lot smaller than the roomy dining area.
I’d encourage you to come back to downtown Eagle, FINALLY most of the road construction and orange cones have disappeared and all the business there have had to suffer from interruptions in being able to maneuver the Old State Street and Eagle Road intersection.
My favorite is the multiple versions of Eggs Benedict including the option to have one of each instead of two of the same Benedict preparations. My wife is “Steady Eddie” with an order of scrambled eggs, toast and maybe a different order of potatoes (home fries or hash browns) or meat. I love their Reuben, the meat is from Porterhouse nearby.
If you want comfort, try to score one of the overstuffed chairs in the middle of the dining room. Secret conversations, pick the back room. The booths along the side have lost their padding and could really use a refresh, my only complaint about the atmosphere. Be sure to order one of the big bowl china cups of specialty coffees, they also have a decent variety of wines and are open for dinner. Busy on the weekends, easier to have a relaxing time during the week.

My wife and I love to meet up with family and/or friends here for brunch, especially since it’s close to where we live. We have been going to Rembrandts regularly for the better part of our 7 year relationship. The service is always spectacular, the food is pretty good and the bill is quite affordable.

They do have a full espresso bar which is quite nice. Not all brunch places have the capacity for a solid cappuccino, more common to have just drip coffee.

We almost never have to wait to be seated (maybe on a holiday when the place gets busy). The servers are friendly and are sure to come by and check on you at least once or twice.

All in all, this is definitely our go-to brunch spot.

The two dings:

1. If you’re like me and prefer your eggs a little on the dryer and more flavorful side, you might find theirs to be too moist and a tad bland. A little hot sauce usually makes it a bit more palatable to me, and they’ve got some of my favorites on hand like Cholula. My wife says they’re perfect as is though, so it’s just a matter of taste.

2. Being a repurposed historical church, the building is quite open and cavernous, it leads to noise carrying and echoing a bit. Not an insufferable amount, but not the most cozy as far as atmosphere goes. It’s beautiful and unique, just not quite as cozy as I’d prefer.

We were in the area and we were told about this place. Very peaceful sitting outside just people watching. The food is amazing! A little pricey but so worthwhile. I was hoping to have a nice sandwich. The turkey avocado sandwich was delicious! My husband had the Fish and chips. I had fries. So tasty and nice. The drinks from the bar were amazing too! My Lemon Drop was perfect! Next time we’re in the neighborhood we will definitely stop by and try something new.

Awesome place for brunch. The Bloody Mary was tasty and fancy with some good veggies decorating it. I got the biscuits and sausage gravy with a side of bacon. Very tasty food made with care. Service was top notch. The atmosphere because the building is an old church house. Decorative and clean inside.
