Local favorite. Weekend is full house during breakfast and lunch hours. The service is good and price is friendly. I ordered the simple breakfast dishes and came out great. If you are here on St Patty’s Day, will use real corned beef instead of canned for the corned beef hash.

The portion size is a good value for the money but the skillets are very heavy on the potatoes. See pictures. This cuts down on the flavors, because every bite you take has a massive amount of baked carbs. Our service was okay. We had full drinks the entire time, but our waitress dropped the check off with the food and said goodbye to us just as we were starting to eat. This diner reminds me of a nursing home cafeteria due to the decor. See pictures. There was a young girl refilling drinks. She seemed a little confused. She even tried to refill my coffee while it was already full. I told her I already had a full mug, but a spoon to mix my creamer and sugar would be very much appreciated. The menu is huge. They do offer a lot of dining options. They can accommodate larger groups, too. They offer outdoor dining on the patio, and yes, it’s dog-friendly, too. Overall, not a bad experience but not necessarily a good one, either.

It is stressful to be here but I don’t care because the food is always so good. My family and I usually get pancakes here (some of the best pancakes) but this time I got a cheeseburger with bacon, onions, and jalapeño peppers. You would’ve thought it came from a burger establishment it was so delicious. The burger was juicy and huge. I’m never going back to eating pancakes for breakfast when I can have this beautiful and flavorful burger instead. If you’re dining in your service quality really depends on who’s serving you because I’ve gotten some ‘tude before.

This is one of the last local diners left in town and it’s consistently good. The prices are fair especially for how much food they give you. And it’s nice having the same great servers every time we go. Only thing I’ve had that wasn’t great are the biscuits, but the gravy is yummy.

Love it, they cook so dang fast. If you are in a hurry but don’t want fast food. This is the place. So many options to choose from. Plus this place has the best cheese grits.

The food is regular fare but soothing, delicious and so soul satisfying. Prep to you is rapid and the staff are wonderful and so welcoming. I can much recommend this establishment not just for breakfast but for lunch, as well. Please try their Philly steak and cheese..:

Sweet old fashioned diner-like locally owned/run restaurant with terrific, generous plates of classic breakfast fare. My eggs with feta, and the bacon were cooked perfectly, and their corned beef hash was deelish. Fast, friendly, inexpensive, and plenty of parking, too. Two of us ate very well for under 28 without tip. GO!

Old cafe style restaurant. Amazing food!!! Pancakes so big you’re unable to finish them! Service was great, the ladies in here are super nice. If you’re into a modern style upgraded place or an ihop- this is not for you!! This is for the people who love older versions of perfection!!! Efharisto!!!!

The building and the decor tell you the place has been around a while, and the food, prices, and service tell you why. I had a seafood pasta dish and was initially surprised by how much tomato sauce it was buried in and by the size {it was two FULL meals and I’m not a small man). I dove in anyway, pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was – even the sauce, which is generally not my preference. Spices were well used and the seafood was perfectly done. The 5th star fell to the overcooked, nearly flavorless pasta, but the rest more than made up for it.
Service was friendly but a little slow and chaotic. The place was slammed so I cut them a break for that, assuming they (like many places) are struggling to get servers and didn’t just schedule too few. The decor was dated kitschy but pleasant. Atmosphere is typical of a family-style diner and they had no trouble accommodating our large party.
And the value was remarkable. For what we got, I would have expected a larger tab. As I said at the start, there’s a reason (actually several) this place maintains its popularity.
I look forward to my next visit.
