I had a really disappointing experience here. When I walked in, the restaurant was completely empty, so I politely asked the server if they were open. Instead of answering, he responded with, “Who are you?” — which felt rude and unnecessary.
The Curry Salmon Bowl itself was actually very good — great flavor and a generous portion. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed it. There was no one at the till when I came up to order, and overall the staff seemed inattentive.
Good food, but the customer service needs serious improvement.

I like the healthy options and they have the best fountain drinks including stevia-sweetened cola. I liked the platters they had before changing that option to bowls. I love that they offer cauliflower rice, but considering the base price and portion sizes, I think charging an extra $2.00 for the cauliflower is a lot. (You get like 1/3 cup of the cauliflower rice)

I enjoyed my salmon breakfast bowl. The radishes had this yummy seasoning on them, and the salmon tasted really nice. Inside was clean, lots of windows, and some tables spread throughout. My guy did not enjoy his banh min sandwich as much as I liked mine. He said the chicken still had some chewy bits and the ingredients felt piled on each other instead of mixed together. Prices were okay, right at what I would be willing to pay. Any more and I might have wanted a bigger portion. I liked it, and it’s nice to have another healthy place to eat.

Did mod market change their pizza crust? I started going to mod market weekly on Wednesdays just to have their pizza because it was so good and the staff even told me they loved my toppings choice that I put on it. Several of them even told me that was their favorite. Also should ask her. They started changing the pepperonis and went from the small ones to large ones which wasn’t as good but it was still eight or nine out of 10. Recently though pizza, the last three times I went was not good and it’s because the crust was thicker and chewy and no taste. Please bring back what you had before as this is no good. 🙁

I love their responsibly sourced ingredients and commitments. This hit every single part of a restaurant experience that makes my heart sing. Excellent food, perfectly sourced ingredients, fantastic service, super cleanliness, and … did I mention how good the food is?!

I had a customized online order. I work close by and figured I would give it a try. Everything about my experience at this Modern Market location was so awesome. Loved being able to swap out food options online. The meal was accurately prepared and portions were spot on. Loved it! I will be back often.
I see some negative reviews about the food. I’ve been here a few times and it’s phenomenal every time. For those that think it’s expensive- is it really though? I got a customized plate for $16 after tax. #1 meal from McDonald’s is like $10+? Healthy food is more expensive and only $5 more in average than most fast food joints imo.

I had a funny situation, my boss was getting lunch today. I offered to pick it up. She orders ( I am famous for messing it up) well she forgot my food, the Owner/Manager was right there when I asked the guy up front; if maybe she put in another order. ( We are both famous for doing things like this— No we aren’t lawyers who thrive on perfections, so we mess up our food orders) LOL well they said no problem let me make you one, I said oh NO please do not worry. AND 3 of them insisted, I said let me pay at least, they all said NO. They provided my lunch that was missing, they were just the best people… I mean, to not even let me pay and to thrive on the GIFT of GIVING was very heart warming and they say those who give all the time don’t always get back but we also; don’t always see the small blessing when one is giving back. Today this was the small thing that really made it a memorable experience and not only was the salad amazing, but the feeling left with me today is appreciated…..
