The pulled pork sandwich deals on Tuesday and Wednesday are the best bargain in Lansing. Do yourself a favor and tell them you’re heading next-door to the REO Town pub. A great spot to stop for a bite while in Lansing. The brisket is good, but their sides are their strong point. The mac & cheese was not dried out (which most BBQ spots fail to do), and the baked beans had generous amounts of meat. I also really liked their home mustard sauce. So much so, that I bought a bottle to take home.

Good deals on Tuesday ($10 pork sandwiches) and Wednesday (BOGO Pork sandwiches), don’t know if these change every week; pulled Pork Sandwich was alright, gotta dunk the whole sandwich in sauce or else the pork is too dry

First time going here. Ordered pulled pro sandwich, Mac n cheese snd coleslaw. All the food was like warm. Pork didn’t have much flavor and kind of dry without any sauce. The store itself is so small and not much seating so better to get take it.

Food was great. Highly recommend the brisket. Literally just falls apart and melts in your mouth. Probably the best brisket I’ve ever had. Staff is always friendly which is a huge bonus. Asked if I could try some burnt ends and they gave me a free sample. Will definitely be back….frequently

4 out of 5 stars ONLY because the business is lacking a Manager at this time and they have run out of a lot of inventory on a regular basis. Other than that it’s 5 out of 5 stars! I was helped by Jay, whom was absolutely top tier at helping me solve a craving I was having. I wanted a loaded fry w/ pulled pork, mac n cheese topped with coleslaw. THIS IS NOT A MENU ITEM, so Jay had to customize this for me, he did wonderfully! What I ordered was a 1 meat (Pulled Pork) w/ Fries and Mac n Cheese for my sides. Then I ordered an additional side of coleslaw. The way this was assembled was Fries on bottom, then layered with the Mac n Cheese, on top of that was the Pulled Pork, and to top it off Coleslaw. I always add some of their Sweet n Tangy BBQ sauce as I eat it. 10 out of 10 Recommend! Craving was pleased to say the least! Thank you Jay, as always you were great!

A waste of my money. I Used to stop in this place a lot and it was really good , and I was very happy . After visiting some friends , I stop and get the brisket and pork and I do not know if they changed owners or what but the brisket way too much fat more fat than meat. The pulled pork dry and old . Only thing that was good was the corn cake. I wish I could figure out how to post pictures

Absolutely Delish! Took Thanksgiving meal to Detroit family….the whole smoked turkey was so moist and tender, potatoes so tasty, very sweet sweet potatoes, wonderful stuffing, great macncheese and really tasty gravy. Very easy instructions to reheat. EVERYTHING was perfect. Thank you!

I’ve been to all the BBQ places in the Lansing area and Saddleback stands above them all. The service is impeccable, very friendly staff. The BBQ ribs and brisket are smoked just right along with the seasonings/rub. Took my daughter’s there today and we had a fantastic time sitting outside in the sun. Also I should add, the bathroom is modern and super clean. Something I can be picky about when reviewing a restaurant. I recommend to all who are looking for good BBQ at a fair price.

I thought I would treat my 98 yr old parents to a brisket pasty. The good is that the flavor was good and the gravy too. Now gor the bad…
Not enough brisket by far. They need a new recipe gor the crust. It was dry, it fell apart, there was no crust to hang on too. I couldn’t even get a whole one out of the pan! Very dissatisfied. Sorry, I was hoping for so much better.
