Great local place with friendly and polite staff. Food was great and priced good too. We will be back for sure. Got desert also and it was almost exactly 20 a person.. worth every penny.

We stopped by for lunch, and we’re glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed flavorful Ruben sandwiches that truly did not disappoint—absolutely delicious. Our waitress suggested we try some dessert, and we’re so glad we took her advice. The peanut butter pie was heavenly, and the warm cherry pie with ice cream was a perfect ending. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. Don’t just take our word for it—come and experience it yourself!

Owning my own restaurant myself I like to try different places to eat and this place did not disappoint! I am not much for breakfast food and you can get lunch or dinner at 9 in the morning if you want! The food was on point. The service was absolutely phenomenal. While we waited for food The train went by it was pretty neat. 10/10 recommend!

You can tell this place has been around for a while and that it has roots. This is a typical stop on our way back from our morning hunting trips in Newaygo. The food here is consistent and we’ll priced. My favorite item however is the pancakes. Delicious buttermilk and I can taste the vanilla. Love them!

What a lovely experience at that historic restaurant in Bailey, Michigan — the one with oak‑wood floors and a setting that felt authentic, was told, it was built around 1877 and management might have changed hands , latest being like 5 years ago. The décor was rich with tradition yet impeccably kept and modernized. I came all the way from Toronto and chose it for breakfast, and it didn’t disappoint. My English breakfast — sunny side‑up eggs, ham, sausage, mushrooms, and white toast — was delicious, though my bacon wasn’t the best but still okay and the people were warm and welcoming. Truly a great morning.

We’re in from out of town to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and the Depot didn’t disappoint!

The Train theme and overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our food was terrific.

I had the Conductor breakfast meal, and everything was made exactly how I like it, including some amazing homemade bread!

My brother loved his patty melt sandwich and seasoned fries, as well as the homemade milkshake for dessert!

Elizabeth was our server, and she was super nice and took care of everything we needed! She also suggested some things to do while we’re in town, that we definitely plan to check out!

She ALSO made sure my brother got a terrific piece of pie for his birthday!

Overall, we had a great time, and plan on coming back while we’re here, and any time we’re back in the area!

Great family friendly restaurant. Awesome food great prices! Bringing it back to its original glory with a little new age flair!! Home made pastries, pies and cakes made from scratch daily by an on site baker. Specials running every day!! You gotta check this place out!! Running train all thru the upper dining area is a fun attraction for all ages!! Long time staff love their customers here and get to know you by name!! Must visit to get the history associated with its long time running since 1980s!!

A Sunday, late morning breakfast, that turned out to be a step into history, complete with great old photos of this former train depot and an actual train rumbling by outside. The food is decent as well as the service.

Wife and I were passing through Grant (1/19/22) and decided to stop here for lunch. It was fairly busy but we were promptly seated and served. Waitress was friendly. Loved the decor. Food was as expected and good. The onion rings were HUGE! We definitely did not expect the onion rings to be fresh and that good. Will be returning for sure.
