Today (Sunday) was our first visit ever to Bob Evans; ordered Seasonal apple caramel pancakes, buttermilk pancakes and Griddle hot cakes (I’m adding a picture). The food was ok… Just ok. Not has tasty has it looks at the menu. Pancakes has a weird consistency, like they weren’t completely cooked (but I’m sure they were) and were sticky… So maybe it’s just a different recipe we haven’t tried before (?), I guess.
I’m a coffee drinker and I cannot say coffee was bad, but definitely wasn’t good.
About the prices: it’s not precisely cheap, but you can get tastier options in other restaurants for a bit less money.
Atmosphere is lovely, and cozy. Really enjoyed the music.
The staff was friendly, our waitress too, but service was very slow (restaurant was just half full and was starting to get empty since we had a late breakfast).
We might be back to try again for lunch, but definitely not for breakfast again.

We ordered with the app and that was good, the service was good, food was done on time and brought to the car. But the presentation and serving sizes were horrible. I got steak tips and mashed potatoes and my husband got the pot roast. We won’t be ordering again. However, the taste was good. Serving size for the money it’s bad, for a dinner portion, I mean look at the picture, mine is 50% empty and my husband’s is 50% nasty reheated carrots. Are mashed potatoes so expensive you can’t give more than a half cup portion Bob Evans?

Haven’t been here in years. They stopped serving the salmon ig that I went for and I had to ask for my rolls while my meal came expecting it to be out before then. Service at this place lacked. The atmosphere is different then what I remembered.

After numerous poor experiences, I am finally leaving a review. After entering the restaurant, it is very common to stand awkwardly by the hostess stand for 10 minutes before even being greeted by an employee. Wait time from then is typically 20-30 minutes to be seated even though there are many open tables. We love the food, but we now expect dining here to be a two hour experience due to the long wait times. They need more wait staff. When we order carry out, it is usually ready ONE HOUR AFTER the assigned pick up time. We ordered breakfast this morning, were told to pick up at 10:35, and it was not ready until 11:40! We waited in the lobby for an hour for our order to be ready. If this was a one-time occasion, I would never leave a complaint, but this is now the expectation for EVERY visit. Unfortunately, I think we’ll join the others who have stated they will order from the Red Olive restaurant next door instead from now on.

Been going here for years and it is the worst it’s ever been. Our server literally walked past us 4 times in 12 minutes and never acknowledged us. Someone else even brought coffee and only 5 tables had guests. Food was also VERY over cooked.

Such a great experience! So many great options for kids and adults. The thing that really made this experience amazing was our waitress Sarah she gave recommendations when asked, explained the menu items and was just such a sweet soul. Been a long time since I’ve had a waitress treat us so well.

I really enjoyed the food. I always have breakfast food when I come, but once I had the burger and that was great too. The service was very friendly. It’s a great place to come and visit, I never feel rushed to leave, the servers make us feel like we could stay forever. I also think the coffee is really great too, always drink a few mugs!
