We have been here many, many times for hibachi or a quick sushi bite while at the mall…..and I have to give them a shout out after our lunch yesterday, especially during the holiday season when everyone is hustling and bustling around!
I did not get the bartender’s name, but he really did an amazing job (happy, engaging, everything was on point…..down to making sure I had some of their delicious ginger sauce for our leftovers!), the food was beyond flavorful and fresh! And their lunch specials are an incredible deal and perfect for a holiday shopping refresh. We got their special roll lunch and a lunch bento box, shared all the things and still had enough to bring home for nibbles later on!
They are fantastically consistent in service and flavor and I highly recommend!

The Hibachi was cooked perfect! I had the filet which was tender, had great flavor, and was absolutely delicious, while my wife had the shrimp which was not overcooked and was absolutely delicious as well. Our Chef was fun, and we had a great time! The food portion size was perfect, and it was reasonably priced. #Hibachi #Filet #Shrimp #Chef #Food #Dinner #Restaurant #DateNight

Overall — would highly recommend for the food. Atmosphere/vibe is just OK, but I don’t put a lot of weight on that aspect of my ratings. Service was good, no issues at all.
We had assorted sushi and we loved each roll. We eat a lot of sushi (for US residents at least) and my wife stated that her dragon scales roll was one of her favorite she ever had. The majority of the restaurant is geared towards hibachi so the normal dine in seating is relatively small, literally 1/10 of the hibachi area.

Little Tokyo was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was fun, and the overall experience was exactly what you hope for when you go out for hibachi.
Our waitress, Loly, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and helped make the night even better. Service like that really adds to the experience.
The food was solid and well-prepared. While I’d love to see a bit more creativity or unique flair in the dishes, everything we had was still very good and satisfying.
The biggest win? Even my son enjoyed it, which says a lot. All in all, Little Tokyo delivered a great night out, good food, and a memorable experience. Definitely worth checking out.

The food was excellent, but I could tell a server or two called out, I feel like they were down a cook too. Thankfully the food and entertainment was good, and the hustle from the servers made up for being short staffed. The place was jamming!

Lunch today… no wait on a Sunday @1:40pm. We were greeted and sat quickly. Service was excellent. Food was 7/10 The Hibachi steak plate was really solid, while our sushi items could have been better. The items were made fresh, but lacked flavor overall. Decor and cleanliness was more than acceptable. Prices are higher than our average, $80 for two.

We had the pleasure of joining them for their 14th anniversary in business here in the Myrtle Beach area. Crazy we’ve lived in the area over 10 years and never even knew this was here. big mistake on our part. Our service was absolutely fantastic and so was the meal. I even had the opportunity to try the purple drink which included sake and butterfly pea flower tea. It was amazing and I don’t even like sake. We will definitely be back and we’ll try the sushi rolls next time during happy hour in the bar area which by the way is a really fun place to hang out.

My family and I have been coming here for years and never once complained, even in instances where we should have. Today I asked them to replace my 7 year old son’s order with the order he thought he was getting.. it would have been a very easy fix. The manager cheaply declined and dismissed our very small ask. I find this decision to be in very poor taste and as a result, will not be returning. Do better by your very loyal, Long-term guests.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We chose to just do the dining area instead of hibachi due to the wait time. The ranch for my salad was diluted so much it was like ranch flavored water. I ordered the steak entree, medium, but it was still pretty tough and over cooked. My wife ordered chicken and it was like chewing on rubber. The spring rolls were just simply not good. Plus they served them with a pretty spicy chili sauce and didn’t say anything to us about it, and when my wife took a bite it lit her up. No warning the sauce was hot. Not sure if an off night for them or what but nothing about our experience was enjoyable and the bill of course was just salt in the wound. We won’t be coming back.

Birthday celebration. The food and service was great. The portions were spot on. They sung and played instruments for my husband’s birthday, even had him do a birthday dance. We had a great time and will definitely return.
