A very unassuming place along Highway 301. Most people would probably pass up. The locals know. What makes this place a good place to eat is cops. Cops know where the good and affordable places to eat.
When we arrived there were 2 FHP troopers having their morning coffee. So if they go there it means they trust the food and service.
I ordered a 1/2 biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs over medium. My girlfriend ordered the french toast and a plate of egg whites.
Everything looked to be cooked to order. Both plates had generous portions. Coffee was ever flowing. Both dishes were very tasty.
Service was just the right amount. Even when the server came back she filled our coffee without in interrupting us.
Prior to leaving we were asked if we needed any coffees to go. That’s a good sign of a place dedicated to serving the customer.
Out the door with tip was a bit over $20.00.

Everything tasted good, but unfortunately two of our dishes came with a strand of hair…Also, we had to wait a long time for our food when they weren’t busy.

Has to be under new ownership. When we went today we order 3 biscuit and gravy and over medium eggs. Eggs where over easy. Menu prices are not even close or the ones online its like making up the pruce while you order. asked if they had a new number because we tried to place an order to pick up he tells my husband “phone stay off no complaints.” My husband asks about the pricing inconsistencies the guy was very rude. My husband says you have lost a customer guy says “I don’t care.” Obviously it’s under new management because I have never had to deal with this man in my years of coming. It’s sad a local small business being ran into the ground by not having any respectful hospitality.

If I lived in Tampa, I would have breakfast here every day! They brought me a huge portion, and I thought, how am I going to eat all this? But everything was so homely and delicious that there was nothing left

Had a great experience here for breakfast. Found a seat right away, the service was friendly, the food was ready quick and it was as delicious as I would have imagined. The 2 pancakes I ordered are plate sized and delightful. The Monte Cristo omlette was filled to the brim with ham chunks. These paired well with my orange juice. Definitely great value in the purchase
