We are just a small family trying to make it in the big restaurant world. We specialize in slow smoked Pulled Pork and Beef Brisket. All of our meats are smoked in house, all of our sides and desserts are homemade by the staff daily. We are proud of our Southern Sweet Tea and our Spicy Jamaican Jerk BBQ Sauce! We cater BBQ with little to no notice and we also cater Charcuterie Boards. We sell Smoked Hams and Turkeys year round. DO NOT ORDER FROM A HOTEL. Stayed the night at a local hotel and ordered delivery from our room. It all arrived cold and our wings were smoked to the point of burned and DRY with NO SAUCE whatsoever, unless you count the drips on the bottom of the container. After picking out the DICED tomatoes and onions from my side salad that I ordered WITHOUT tomatoes and onions, I couldn’t even eat it, and my husband couldn’t eat his entree salad, because we didn’t have utensils or napkins with our order that was DELIVERED TO A HOTEL ROOM. The fries and cornbread were edible, even though they were cold, but definitely not worth the $60 we paid for the order. I can’t believe this place has any good reviews! Everyone in my household works food and bev except me, and no one would have served the food we received from this restaurant!

For some strange reason this was the first time I ever tried this place even though I’ve been coming to Bloomington all the way back when I had a fake ID at age 16.
If I’m being honest the ribs were the just okay but maybe I should try a different sauce with them next time. The original sauce just wasn’t flavorful enough for me. The mac and cheese was mid, and for the first time ever in one of my reviews I have to get five stars to the green beans. Was totally not expecting the green beans to be the star of the show, but they totally are.
The staff is super friendly and nice and they did come out and ask if I needed anything. Meet little location, very clean and cozy. I will definitely give them another try very soon.

Absolutely amazing. I hadn’t been before so they offered to do sauce on the side. Somehow that didn’t make it in the bag but I had bbq sauce at home do all was not lost. But Holy hell, the brisket was so tender, cole slaw and corn bread were phenomenal! And the price? It would have cost about 3 times that back home.

For the price I got a decent sized burger served quick. Besides the rude off comment I heard over my choice of Swiss cheese I was served quick. Here’s my honest thoughts on the food. Fries were obviously good how can you mess up fries? That burger though? It was meaty but absolutely flavorless. To compensate I tried some of this barbecue and oh boy let me tell you something about this. It has such a oddly specific taste almost like a hot sauce without the hot part. I felt so confused and entranced I just kept dipping not even pit of joy of the taste but out of confusion. I cannot say I loved or hated it but it was something.

Had a pretty large order. Pulled pork was very good. Brisket was so so. Was last of it though. Wings were dry. Bought the ribs but I didn’t try. Looked a little dry, again though, I didn’t try. Corn bread was good. Greens lacked flavor, at least compared to the ones I cook. Slaw was good. Wish they had a Carolina style sauce.

There were three of us and we split a half a rack of ribs and a brisket sandwich with sweet barbecue sauce. The ribs will fall off the bone tender and everything tasted fantastic. The sweet tea was definitely southern style. Sweet. A great little rib joint.

Having lived in Texas for a while, I know a thing or two about brisket…and their brisket is TOP NOTCH–incredible flavor, perfect tenderness, just excellent for this far north of the Red River…
Great old timey atmosphere, this is how restaurants used to be when they had character and charm. Remember that?! They still got it. Look for the pink building and pink pig , then follow your nose inside !

Had the brisket sandwich and the baked beans, both were just okay, the hot bbq sauce was pretty good. Decent menu selection, very reasonably priced.

The sauce is good. Meat was a little tough and the gristle wasn’t my favorite. Ordered from their website and there was no description of the soup. I asked what the soup was when I got there and they told me pork and beans. When I got home there was chili in that cup.
