The cinnamon shakes were excellent. The way back burger is a really cool place to get some snacks when you’re staying at the Drury next door. We got in late and walked over and had some burgers and shakes. It was a glorious experience. The cinnamon shakes were gobsmacking great. The cool sweet cinnamon flavor filled my mouth with excitement and joy.

Way Back is Way Kool!! Isaac is always happy to see customers come in, and service with a smile is just standard practice with him. I feel like Isaiah is a True Gem when it comes to being the face that the customers see when they enter. We are always greeted on our way in as well.
The people are friendly, food is Awesome, so what is there not to like about all that?? We’ll, perhaps the manager could do the front counter painting at another time…

So nice I ate there twice! Went in for the first time ever for lunch with some coworkers, I got the A1 burger with tots. Very good. So good I came back later for dinner with my family. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. Also, very good. I do recommend this place. The crew was also great. Thank you!

The food was not bad. Prices are definitely on the high side for a burger/sandwich. The milkshake was very good. I got the Cinnamon Toast one and it was good. The service was “meh” – not very friendly though. I ordered shakes but they didn’t tell us they were keeping them in the freezer so I stood in a line waiting, thinking they hadn’t made them. Overall not a bad experience but not our favorite sandwich joint for sure. But would probably try it again.

An employee named Bailey took care of us that night and she was so good to us. I can tell she is a good hard worker. The food came out fast, but before it did she checked in on us anyway just to be kind. I even over heard her recommending good options to the next customers. She seems like she’s really proud of her work!

We just had the best burger we have had anywhere for a long time. The guys working here were keeping everything super clean. They were both very nice and professional. The food here is just great and is brought out to your table very quickly. I wish I could give more than five stars. Super impressed with the value and quality of the food but especially kudos to the staff tonight you were on point. The restaurant is easy to find using Google Maps just off of I 69 in Evansville, Indiana.
