Stumbled across Buck’s Bar completely by accident but so glad we went in! The fried chicken was up there with the best I’ve had. The atmosphere was super chill and the staff were so friendly! Ella and Ava who served us on the day were particularly lovely! Would 100% recommend if you’re staying in or around Merchant City area of Glasgow!

This was our second time having bucks bar and we love it. We had gotten takeaway as we weren’t staying to far and the food was still hot and great. The portions are huge and we couldn’t even finish the fries. Absolutely worth the money. I had gotten a Nutella milkshake (delish) and my partner had gotten the bourbon cream shake, very boozy but exactly what he wanted. We absolutely love the food here, so good!

This was our first time at the trongate venue and it was a great experience. Our female server on the top level was nice and talkative throughout. The venue itself was really busy (Sunday 5:30pm) so I would advise to prebook your table. The music was great as always and the food was lovely. The trongate venue is a 10 min walk away from The Barrowlands so a good place to go to before a gig!. We will be back soon.

Popped in today, Sunday, for lunch but hadn’t pre booked a table. Got offered the bench and bar stools at the window which i accepted as i was bloomin starving! The menu in Bucks is pretty special and has so many different options for their incredible chicken. I opted for the gravy train burger – fried buttermilk chicken breast, hash browns, cheese and amazing gravy on a brioche bun and switched up my fries to sweet potato ones. When i tell you it was a feast, im not lying. Its currently 10pm at night…approx 9 hrs after i ate and im still not hungry! Staff were super friendly and helpful. I love the vibe of the place and the music soundtrack today was class. Definitely recommend it!!

Super friendly bar with a great vibe. We had plenty of chances for drinks and food. The servers were really nice to us, and the portions we got were more than you could ask for. Awesome spot with great food and drinks. I’d definitely go back.

Great spot for a burger! We tried the jackfruit vegetarian burger, which was surprisingly good, especially with the Nashville sauce. The patty was a bit oily, but the overall flavor was nice and the portion was generous. Burgers come with the choice of fries and we got salt n chili fries – loved it. We also had the buffalo cauliflower bites—those were outstanding. Service was excellent as well. I’ve also heard amazing things about their chicken burger, so definitely give that a try!

Managed to get a table last evening with my son. What a great decision. Cracking we table on the first floor, we were phenomenally looked after by Faye, a total charmer. We followed her recommendations and were not disappointed. Buffalo wings and the Country Boy Chicken Burger, superb. Accompanied by a few pints of Staropramen, get on! Great venue, great food, great service. Bravo .

Hate traveling to another country and eating food from home but we didn’t want to wander far from the hotel and comfort food for our last night in Scotland sounded wonderful. Couldn’t be happier with the choice. They know how to do fried chicken really well! Moist but crispy with lots of options. Think you will be pleased.
