Fantastic food and a very large menu. The pitcher of margaritas is worth it. I had the burrito Supreme, my wife had the taco salad, and kids had burritos and enchiladas. The burritos are huge. The cheese sauce with the chips is excellent. The chips are the perfect light, flaky type. Service was a bit slow and they were not busy hence the 4 star. They have a vegetarian section of the menu, too.

Very nice restaurant and great atmosphere too. Very friendly staff, attentive to your needs before you even ask and very knowledgeable as far as menu and drinks too.
You are served chips and salsa before you even order your drinks.
Our server / bartender was very busy but never missed a chance to check on us.
We definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back again.

It’s always busy here. The food is decent and the service is just ok. We had to ask for things several times before we got them. The time from being sat to getting our first drink and appetizer was a bit long but not unbearable. The portion of meat in the combo fajita dish was a bit lacking. The kids ordered a mac and cheese, this looked straight from the blue box. I spent over $150 after giving a generous tip but know I would have been as happy at the cheap taco place a few stores over. Sorry Mr Tequila, wish I could provide a better review but tonight wasn’t your night.

The staff here is delightful and so friendly, but something has changed. This was my favorite Mexican restaurant after trying many to replace my back- home fave. We started noticing differences in the flavor quality of our usual dishes several months ago, right before the pandemic began. We tried other restaurants after having a carryout dinner that had zero flavor. We tried other places for the next few months. After reading a couple of new reviews we went back a couple months ago, tried something different and were blown away by the delicious food that night! It was SO good we came back 2 weeks later and ordered the exact same dishes. To our dismay, the dishes were lacking the flavor and quality that we had previously enjoyed. The chimichangas were soggy and the enchiladas doughy, and the taste was extremely bland. The beans and rice are always good, but it’s probably going to be a while before we go back-$16 entrees are pretty pricey if the quality isn’t there.

Nice place. The seats outside are not very comfortable, but the food was great.
The portions were much toooooo big for us but it was awesome.
All ordered meals were good. The kids love this place also.
Staff was very nice and good

Great AUTHENTIC Mexican place. Cool down with one of the many vibrantly colored tables indoor in the AC or feel the coastal breeze on their semi-shaded patio. LARGE margaritas are in option. All the food comes out hot and traditional. Chips and salsa continue throughout the meal.

The ambiance is very inviting. It was busy as expected for a Saturday evening. We were seated right away. The margaritas are amazing definitely recommend. Their chips and salsa were very good, probably one of the best salsas I’ve eaten at a Mexican restaurant. We ordered the tacos dinner al pastor and the fajitas Texanas. Food was hot and fresh. We’ll definitely be back. They are supposed to be opening a new location in the old applebees building on Corkscrew and 75.

I enjoyed Mr. Tequilas, but I did not feel “wowed” by it. The salsa is good, but it’s definitely not homemade, it really tastes like canned stuff you get at the grocery store. I got the rancheras enchiladas, and I really enjoyed those. There were 5 enchiladas with 5 different fillings. It wasn’t anything special but like I said, I liked it. Our waitress was nice but I didn’t think the service was stellar. It’s just another Mexican American restaurant in my eyes. If yourein the FMB area, with so many other fun restaurant options, I’d definitely say this should be at the bottom of the list, if not last in the race for where to eat. Feel free to see what you think!

Good place. Outside seating was uncomfortable but it was a nice option. Shrimp, chicken, pork and carnitas fajita was amazing. So much flavor! Guacamole was also very good and the chips were warm which I loved. Flan was the best I’ve ever had in my life!! The flan is an absolute must have!! Piña colada was good also. Overall good place and a great location. Very tasty!

We had a beach house a few houses down from this place so we figured we’d stop in for some Mexican on our first night in town. The food was delicious and came out quickly and sizzling. The paper straws were hard to get the initial sip of our frozen drinks through, but once we fought through that battle it was smooth sailing from there on out. Our server was nice but a little bit on the inattentive side. When we were ready to leave we had to flag her down. The lizards hung out with us for the wait though so it was pretty entertaining. We would come here again to eat, no problem.
