Great place. Food took a little while to get out but it seemed busy so that was understandable. Good food, decent prices and it’s right on the lake so a really nice feel. At least on a Sunday afternoon. Would definitely go again.

My wife and I have been to Lindy’s many times. Most recently we were here Saturday May 24, 2025 which happened to be Memorial Day Weekend. It was cool out (probably 60 degrees) but the full and intense sun made it a perfect day for dining alfresco. They offered tables on the deck, or in the sand, or indoors. We opted for a table in the sand (which was hands down the best option).
The menu has a nice array of options. I ordered the Poor Man’s Lobster Roll (shrimp instead of lobster). My wife had the Cali Wrap. Our meal was good, but a little overpriced. Having Bangs Lake as a backdrop made it a little more palatable.
Lindy’s is at its peak on days when they offer live music. The lakeside setting might elevate it from a three star review. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would. If you are in the area and looking for a relaxed lakeside vibe you might to give Lindy’s a try.

Great local spot that we have enjoyed probably not enough but every time we go we really appreciate the service and quality. Also had our son’s rehearsal dinner there this past memorial day weekend. This spot deserves your attention.

The inside is bright and open, with high ceilings and white decor that makes it feel fresh and relaxing. Old photos on the walls show the restaurant’s long history, which is a nice touch.
Big windows look out onto a marina full of boats, which adds to the atmosphere—though it can get a little busy.
The food is classic American, like burgers and fish & chips. The portions are big, and the fish was crispy and tasted fresh.
Even though it’s just in the suburbs, it almost feels like you’re at a seaside marina. It’s a nice little getaway without going far.

My wife and I come to Lindy’s Landing about twice a month and the food never disappoints. We typically sit at the bar. The wait staff is always friendly and fun (shout out to Hailey). Tonight we were presently surprised with the addition of sushi to the seasonal menu. And I can tell you the rolls were huge and quite tasty. Good job team. Keep these as much as you can.

I go here almost weekly, year round! You can’t beat the happy hour deals, and in the summer it’s got a very nice outdoor patio, although quite basic except in the fine dining section. Lots of live music in the summer, and Thursday nights the rest of the year.

We had a great dinner here at Lindy’s Landing on Saturday, January 3, 2026. We have been going here for years and we love the beach in the summer and stuff. This was our first time back in years. I got an amazing burger here. Our waitress was so kind and friendly. We had a great time sitting inside by the cozy fire on a cold Illinois night. Always a favorite for a nice lunch by the water. Burgers are big. Fish tacos are wonderful. Chicken sandwich delicious. Salads fresh. Cheese curds great. Nice outdoor seating at the main restaurant but also outside near the boat ramp. Our latest visit service was a bit slow granted it was a Thursday afternoon but still shouldn’t have been that slow.

Beautiful restaurant with super delicious food! Great mix of options if you want something filling but not too heavy. Their turkey burger is splendid and the sweet potato tots are absolutely worth it! Their new pork belly bolognese is dreamy with fresh basil. Very friendly staff and fast service too!
