Been coming here since probably 1977 or so. I’ve had steaks, catfish, pizza, BBQ chicken but the go to has always been sliced BBQ sandwiches with chow. Through the years the quality and taste has remained consistent. Come in for the margaritas, they are a regional favorite and some of the best you’re going to find. Be warned this is a popular place and can be packed when college students are in town. Not a bad thing, just shows how good the place is.

When we asked the locals for a great place to eat that was laid back, Midland Inn always came up. After eating here twice in two days, i can tell you there is a reason for all of the recommendations. The food is incredible, the service was just as good. I must recommend the burgers. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Great selection. Great servers. 1st time here and we will be back. Prices in specials are a good deal. 8 oz filet has a great smoky flavor and melts in your mouth. Pulled pork sandwich was very tender and plentiful!

I had a burrito; lots of rice and beans; filled a big plate. It was delicious! My friend had Italian beef and it was also delicious. Service was good and it was busy. We ate on the porch. Overall, a really good experience. So much food!

Found this by accident. Reasonable drinks and food. Feels like a bar and restaurant that’s been there a while. Nothing brand new or fancy but people were very friendly. My husband would definitely go back for their wings. I had gumbo and sandwich and they were yummy.

My partner and I both ordered the bbq chicken special. It came out cold, so we sent it back. They brought it back out, still cold, I also didn’t like it. They still made us pay in full. The server said “I already asked” regarding the payment. I find this to be upsetting and disappointing. I took 2 bites of the chicken and barely ate the sides. Midlands use to be so good. I’m sad about my experience.

Omg you must go here. It is very well known in Jackson County. Service food and atmosphere are fantastic. Lots of food items to pick from. Catfish dinners are beyond amazing. Their margaritas are outstanding. Highly recommend.

This was our fourth attempt to get a chance to try their food. Other times we rode over there only to discover they were closed. This time we called before heading down there. We had heard they had very good food. I decided on the Shrimp PO Boy. Needless to say I was very disappointed. There were very few, very small pieces of over cooked, rubbery, dry shrimp. The bun was also dry. The sauce on the sandwich tasted very good. The french fries were perfect. I also had a salad (not pictured) as a side with an upcharge of course, it was very good. Their sweet tea was delicious. Our service was excellent. We are definitely willing to give them another try. We understand that things happen sometimes. Not like it was an all out bad experience.

I have always passed this place by not sure if it was a restaurant or bar. It is both! Today I ordered their lunch special fried catfish strips. They are great!
Customer service was superb. I researched online first then called to place my order. The lady was so polite and helpful!
When I arrived, it was effortless to pay pickup and go! Will try new items next time. If you have not checked them out for lunch or dinner, you’re missing out!

The food was good and the service was great. We went in with a group of 20 people and one girl took all our orders. She had some help serving and everything came out right, hot and served at the same time.
