This was probably Maui’s first McD’s. It used to have a larger footprint with a playground and party room back in the day.
I like this location as parking is plentiful and the drive thru is easy to get out of if you change your mind.

For whatever reason, no matter when I come to this McDonald’s, the food is never fresh. The cheeseburger and chicken nuggets I ordered this visit are no exception. The service is very rarely fast and it seems the only reason this McDonald’s gets any business at all is because of its central location.
During my visit this time around, the restaurant was being renovated and a fifth of the interior was blocked off with tape. The pricing here is higher than its Wailuku counterparts and the parking is very unintuitive. Maybe they situated the restaurant so far from any significant parking lots to encourage people to walk more to burn the calories they’re ingesting?
All in all, the only reason I ever find myself coming to this location is for their $1 large drinks after I’ve already picked up my lunch somewhere else. If it weren’t for that deal they have, I would have no reason at all to ever come to this location.

I really like and recommend their quarter pounder with bacon.
It always come out really nice and tasty.
Their coffee is fine and no need to add on that but the quality of the quarter pounder is really nice.I keep ordering it,not taking any chances with other things,it’s a surely thing.

Ordered a Swiss mushroom melt. Got no mushrooms the cheese was cold so no Swiss melt either. The same happened with my husbands sandwich. When he took it back to the counter he asked if the sandwich came with mushrooms (like it clearly shows on their menu board) to which the employee’s just stared at him. He had to ask the question again to which she apologized took the burger to the cook. Returned the “same burger to him but now it had mushrooms thrown in….literally thrown in. Don’t even get me started on the cold fries. But the drinks were cold therefore. ….a star is born.

The food quality was good (as good as it gets for McD’s). The service was mediocre. The worker taking our order didn’t get one of our sandwiches input correctly, and when we pulled up to pay, they charged the wrong order to my card. When I pulled up to the pickup window, this caused a bunch of confusion with the associate there. Rather than apologizing for the mistakes and getting us on our way, I was asked to pay the balance of my order amount before we got our food. I know this sounds petty and like a “me” problem, but my family member, who is a former employee, said that they usually just eat mistakes like that and felt it was out of the norm for McD’s service.

This place has the best bacon McDouble at a great price. Dinning room is always packed as well as the sunroom. The Maui Lani location has better service. The mobile order number pickup screen inside seemed to not be working.
