Over multiple visits across the past couple of years, Akshaya Patra have held on to their standards. The food is invariably tasty and the people working are consistently polite and courteous. Altogether, dining here is a pleasurable experience. No wonder the place is rated highly. Kudos on upholding your high standards!

P.S. Tried their Pongal/Sankranthi special banana leaf meal – it was the real deal. A full, delectable spread on an actual banana leaf, the kind of experience you long for!

The Pongal special lunch on Jan 18 was fantastic. Serving the meal on banana leaves provided a wonderful South Indian touch that I’ve truly missed. We really enjoyed the entire experience.

The thali was a delightful experience—authentic, flavorful, and well presented. From the rich curries to the perfectly seasoned sides, every dish tasted fresh and homemade. The variety allowed me to enjoy multiple flavors in one meal, and the portion size was generous. Definitely a must-try for anyone who enjoys traditional South Indian thali food.

I went to eat Punjabi food and probably it was mistake as they might have good South Indian food but they absolutely have no idea about Punjabi food . They agreed upon returning one of the curry and they said all curry will have South Indian taste even if it’s Punjabi !!! It’s pricy especially when they don’t know how to make North Indian food . It makes no sense to charge so much for something they don’t have basic of Punjabi food .

I had a great experience at Akshaya Patra! Their portions were a great size for the price and all of the dishes came out in a timely manner! I really recommend their Chicken Tandoori!

We went for the lunch buffet and had the most wonderful experience! The spread was incredible with so many options. Starters, gravies, naans refilled fresh, plus biryani, salads, and desserts. My absolute favorites were the noodles and gobi 65, naan. Special shoutout- Mango kesari, it was simply out of this world. I’ve been craving it ever since! My pregnant self finally got appetite back with this lovely spread. Even our 3-year-old enjoyed everything she tried. We’ll definitely be back soon.

To be honest I felt overrated as many hyped it for me. It was decent, overpriced place is what I felt.
Taste was good.

We recently tried the Chicken Mandi, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. For a steep price of $30, the portion size was surprisingly small — barely enough for two people to share, which is disappointing considering mandi is typically served generously.

The rice and chicken lacked the depth and richness you’d expect from an authentic mandi. There were barely any visible dry fruits or nuts, which are usually a signature part of the dish. To make things worse, there was no proper gravy or sauce provided for the chicken, leaving it a bit dry and underwhelming.

Overall, it felt overpriced for what was offered, and it missed the mark in terms of both quantity and authenticity
