Pretty Solid tenders. Id give them a 7/10 on the manchvegas scale. A very thick and sweet breading with not much crunch. Seemed more similar to what would be on a beer battered haddock fillet. Still tasted good and chicken was very tender. If that’s your style of tender you will love it. Steak (tips) and cheese was one of the better I’ve had around. Better than what nadeuas has been slinging recently. Good value for price.

First time back in this place since it became a bar. Honestly dont feel the need to return. The menu was ok for a pizza place / bar. For me that’s where it all goes wrong. We were told to sit anywhere and we did our server grabbed us a couple of sodas. I took an extra few minutes to find what I wanted. After finally coming back to take our order it took another 45 minutes to receive all of our food at once. I mean nothing crazy here, some pasta with sausage (becausei didn’t want the frozen non homemade meatballs), a laughable supposed 10inch slice of pizza and a chicken wrap. My order, the pasta was to come with cheese sticks and garlic knots. Well let’s just say no knots. I couldn’t say anything to our server because once the food hit the table she was gone never to be seen again. The bar area seemed quite lively and that’s fine but not everyone drinks.

I hear alot of people say that they haven’t been in awhile or remeber it when growing up, you need to try the new expanded menu and check out the new decor and frosty beverages they now offer, same great value and something to try for everybody in the family.
(They still even have video games for the kiddos !o!)

I recently tried the steak and cheese at Pappy’s Pizza & Subs, and it was absolutely mouthwatering! The savory blend of tender steak and gooey cheese left me craving more. Even my co-worker, who ordered the cheese pizza, couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. Will definitely grab the pizza next time go by.
The ambiance was equally impressive – the recent renovation gave the place a charming retro look. As we enjoyed our meals, we were pleasantly surprised to find an arcade machine inside, adding a playful touch to the atmosphere. While in there, they were midst of a photo shoot, capturing the essence of a fantastic dining experience and delicious food they have to offer
Pappy’s Pizza & Subs has truly created a winning combination of mouthwatering food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a hint of nostalgia with their arcade machine.
Pappy’s has definitely earned its 5-star rating in my book without a doubt – impeccable flavors and a satisfying experience!

If you deliver for Uber Eats, Doordash or one of those mobile food delivery apps, I do want to do a quick, public review, to save you all the same trouble that I constantly experienced the only few times I accepted orders from here. The wait times at this place, even when they are not busy, are very excessive. And the staff absolutely do not care how long you wait. The three times I picked up here were all horrible experiences. The last time, I waited 20 minutes for a thing of mozzarella sticks, that a customer ordered. It was late on a Sunday evening, I walked in, informed the woman at the counter of the order, she tells me, “it’ll just be about 5 more minutes.” I told her that it wasn’t an issue. About 10 minutes goes by and she kept repeating every minute after that, “they’re coming.” I heard this for what added up to 20 plus minutes, and I got angry and stormed out. The cooks, no sense of urgency, they look like they drag their feet on even a simple order like I was there for. If you deliver for any of the food delivery apps, I would seriously reconsider if an order from this place is offered. These folks need to get it together! And learn the difference between 5 minutes and 20 plus minutes. I will never accept another order from here. I lose money when I do so.
I want to also add, that my review is staying permanently. I feel it can be an effective method of preventing others from making the same mistake and getting stuck waiting and furthermore wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.
EDIT: I have never ordered from here, I never would. The person typing the response is butt hurt over my leaving an honest review that is gonna stay here for life. It is simply a warning to other food couriers to use caution when picking up here, as these folks drag their feet, while you stand there waiting and missing out on other orders.

Read they were having a “soft opening” so we visited on Sun. Feb 19, 2023. Never been here before so I have nothing to compare the old owner/decore to the new.
Clean and fresh inside, maybe a bit to small?
We ordered at the counter, and then picked a seat. The wait was average. The food was very good. The steak & cheese w/peppers & salami (regular size) was hot, fresh and very tasty…nice roll! We had it toasted. Also tried a regular sized pepperoni pizza. Again fresh and hot…tasted very good. FYI… it is a bit of a stretch calling this a “pan” pizza…at least according to the menu.
We watched and saw other diners and foods being served. All looked just as good as ours.
So why 4 stars???…
Soft opening is fine but ordering food then having to get it myself (in to go boxes)…we sat and expected what we were told…they would bring it to us.
We had to clear our own table. That is fine but the trash barrel openings were to small for all but napkins and soda bottles…no recycle bins that I could see.
Lastly the gentlemen in the back “barking” orders to the young people working there was quite annoying. A bit demeaning at times and it was evident on their faces.
I’m no softy…I’m 60 and understand what it takes to get young people to work these days. This guy is gonna go through alot of help acting this way towards a group of young adults that really don’t want to be working anyway

Must have caught them at a bad time but I ordered a steak, cheese and tomato sub with extra steak and extra cheese. Was way overcooked very little cheese, nearly no tomatoes and if that’s an extra steak the regular one may need peppers onions and mushrooms to make it a decent sandwich. I’ll go back but like I said must have caught them on a bad night.

I will never order a sub from pappy’s again. We had ordered through door dash and this was the sub we got. It literally has very small amount of toppings and is not worth the price.
